Roofs has responded and responded very well , we have some good home grown talent at Rovers , however we also have some good Aussie players who chose to play for our club , there must have been some attraction for them to come and want to play for our club, i wonder how appealing your club is to potential signings ..............lets face it , you have changed names how many times , your attendance is poop , your away support is poop, your atmosphere is poop, your performance is poop, if the RFL had the courage to admit they had made the "expansion " mistake teams like yours would be relegated , you bring nothing to SL at all, it's rugby Yawnion territory from your neck of the woods , get Widnes & Fax back ,proper RL teams .

It's not too many years since i went to Craven Park and stood in a crowd of around 2000 to see Doncaster beat KR 30-0. It must have been before the 8000 seater bandwagon was built!

FWIW I think a successful Doncaster team would be a great asset to SL - good fans, fantastic stadium (from what I've heard - not had the chance to go in person yet), nice area, plenty going for the club.

Re us & Hull merging - considering we attract over 32,000 fans over two games in Hull each year and our combined average attendances have been over 20,000 for the four seasons we've been in SL, IMO that is prove enough that the city is big enough to support two SL teams.

Doncaster will never, ever be in Super League and to be totally honest i do not want to be.
I am not having a beef at true HKR fans, but it is a fact that a certain 'element' have tagged on to them since SL. This is why i prefer CC rugby, you can watch your team and have a laugh with away fans etc and none of the aggro of big crowds.

Yes, we had that years ago, because we were in a non-heartlands area, where the long-standing infrastructure of player development didn't exist. Are you saying that East Hull has no long-standing history of player development, is RL really an expansion sport in East Hull? The point of criticism is that a big part of Hull KR's strategy appears to involve importing over-the-hill or fringe-NRL Aussies!
