I think Caro is a fantastic prospect - strong and quick, makes big metres, breaks/busts etc. He's similar to Leroy Cudjoe in many ways but ahead of Cudjoe at this stage of their relative developments.

He has his weaknesses but these are due to inexperience IMO and a lack of confidence.

Sadly, he seems to be behind Robertson, Dixon, Colbon, O'Callaghan and probably Melling both this year and next. Again, this makes the original signing of Colbon an odd one and the re-signing of Robertson a barmy one. Given our lopsided resources, I'd have given Caro a lot of game time at right centre in the U20s this year in order to see if he can hold that position down and maybe press for the first grade there. I've said this before but we have almost every 2012 player re-signed for next year so we have almost no leeway to change the squad (im)balance with new players. I hope the infamous review takes note of this.

As things stand - limited opportunities, no sign of a new coach for 2013 etc. - Caro is at a bit of a crossroads not of his own making. Can't blame him for looking at options, if that is what he is doing.

I think his agent has a better career than he has, will probably end up playing union.

Sad to hear that Omari has signed a two year contract if true? after just 12 Super League starts, you would have thought he may have seen prospects in London, but is it money?

Not everything in Humberside is a bed of roses, any young player from London moving there is up against kids who have played rugby league since they could first walk! or at least hold a rugby ball.

Colbon, Robertson & Dixon are more than capable on the wing so I'm not too concerned, wish him all the best though.

Very strange move, imo. One can only think that the club weren't overly bothered about keeping him...as has been said, when Colbon's back, he's unlikely to get in the team.

Not wishing to be mean but strange that there aren't any youngsters in Hull that are deemed as good as Omari.

Colbon's entire career has seen him miss huge spells of every season through injury. Expecting him to be fit and playing regularly is a waste of time. In fact, I'd say he's a waste of a wage and we'd be better off offering him a few quid to leave.

Colbon hasn't had much luck with injuries....had a broken jaw followed by a knee injury whilst at HKR and a groin strain then the shoulder dislocation since he's been with us.

At least they've not been related injuries...maybe he might get better luck next year (we hope).

Maybe if Robertson plays on the wing we keep Colbon on standby in the reserves out of harms way.

At Rovers we have some pretty good kids coming through, but as a club what we don't have is pace, Omari Caro will bring that too us, hopefully hell learn and improve alongside our other young guns.

Sharpe isnt a good player. Slow, lazy, not a great scorer, lack lustre in his game approach(nothing has urgency)
