| Interesting article in League Express this week, something I've always felt some Super League chairmen let the game down badky governing SL, self importance & own club interest, A suggestion from a consultant should we come together with the NRL, they seem to get the game right,
As I said some clubs seem happy just holding onto attendance figuresk thiygh under 10,000? from a Metropolitan area like St Helens, population of 177,200, does their attendance really reflect the council tax payers any longer & council support, We are going backwards. When you look at those who head our Ganesh their is no get up and go, it now seems survival, which I worry about.

So I googled Ganesh. According to Wikipedia, "he is the remover of obstacles; the patron of arts and sciences; and the deva of intellect and wisdom".
A bit like Maurice Lindsay then.

| The Reality is that Einstein had a very good point. If you repeat the same process and expect a differing outcome, then you're pretty much insane.
Since the modern inception of the Club, as in the SL era, with a handful (like Jeremy Beadles size handful) of exceptions, the club has danced around the single issue that it needed to address in terms of becoming anything other than a drain on a benefactors bank account.
You guys can debate the pros and cons of the current Commercial set up and the obvious conflict of interests. You can go over the David Hughes is killing us whilst keeping us alive debate and you can blindly and (see Einstein above) insanely expect anything other than more of the same from the club once they get their feet under the table in Wimbledon.
It matters not what we play. It matters less what we are called. The club badge or the club web address are insignificant and who manufactures the replica kit that hardly sells is of even less significance......if you don't invite customers in, then you'll never make a sale.
For those of you with a "comprehension filter" who find understanding this troublesome, here's a diagram that clearly shows the "efforts' made by the club over the last 25 years to find their place in this crowded sports market whilst ignoring the one thing they should have done!

Please accept my apologies for obscuring the diagram. It patently failed in your case to explain that the Broncos seem to have almost completed a circle of london and are now near to a return south of the water after 25 years of rent payments and name (badge) changes only to find themselves no better off than they were in 1996.
This amazing logistical feat has been accomplish whilst almost completely letting anyone know they existed.

Anyone would think you were the only one over the last 20 years who knew a coherent Marketing Plan was needed if the club were to raise its profile & fan base. It would seem your ego is still suffering the bruising of rejection of your input. Mind you're not taking too much Vitamin C.
