He's a grafter that's for sure. Always put his hand up to take the ball in when the forwards were knackered. I agree though, a bit too small really.

Will he be used to fill in for Mathers at FB

Hellewell's MOM performance last week seems to suggest not.

That is one of the bonuses of threats of new players - the existing players up their game!

One thing we have learnt this season - nothing happens quickly if it happens at all!

Well that's what comes with us listening and believing every little rumour. A tad upset that the Brian noble thing went quiet tho.
Hopefully Hendo is still talking to folk to get em in, mebbee he could persuade his Bro to swap south of France for Hendon, hmmmmmmm maybe not

Is Nobbys deal dead in the water?

It has certainly gone pretty quiet, so maybe we can presume that no deal was brokered

It was said on Boots 'n All tonight that Nobby has joined London Broncos as a mentor for Henderson (no further details).

Surprising to say the least.

I saw that too. He could help Hendo in a number of ways. It is how the players take to him that counts.

He has a lot of knowledge and a lot to offer and with him and Henderson together we should improve as that would appear a winning formula. If the players dont want to listenor respond tothe coaching then move them on - we want a winning team

As for Brian Noble, he was with Hendo at Bradford last Sunday.

Not the best sign that he was at Bradford considering the result and we could not manage at least one try

Give the man a chance.

Has his role been defined or released? What is he doing for the club?

Noble was with Henderson overseeing the game. They both went down to the dressing room together, so I would assume he would have had some input.
But perhaps he was just there to observe.
I would have thought the club would have put out a press release as to his appointment, we need all the publicity we can get.

Would imagine it was a bit of a fact finder let him see how the team and set up works see if he could work with Hendo with very little input on the day.
