| Whilst I'm generally pro Trusts I can only see it as a fall back in our case. In an ideal world one could work with the club but given we are barely tolerated as fans I can't see the powers that be giving / selling us a share of the club.
Whilst I expect to buy a season ticket, if we don't see some signs things may be different this year the extra travel time / cost may yet push me into the occasional attender category.

That's because we don't buy enough curry.
Maybe a curry club is the answer?

As others are saying or touching on, stop treating us like mugs, telling us we will get fans forums, telling us we will know more in two weeks, being very vague with everything, not updating the official website or twitter feed since last season ended. I'm not sure exactly what happened with the sponsorship do but didn't sound good. This has all happened and apparently no one will be accountable for it.
The current set up has had enough time to do this and frankly it's just getting worse, any signs they show of getting people who care or know what they are doing ends up with them getting pushed away.

Customer Relationship Management then?
Agree with all the points raised so far but would appreciate any more that come to mind. I would hope to convey a "wishlist" to the club by the end of the week....

| I'm not a season ticket holder but get to as many games as I can. Before I make my mind up about the new season I want to see proof that they are taking this seriously. I have a terrible feeling that the 'plan' is to see out the season so that Hughes can say he fulfilled his commitment and the RFL can keep the 14 team SL.
They need to show that they're a professional sports club - by their actions not words. Part of that, and I'm afraid we're not off to a good start here, is the removal of McKay and the installation of competent sports professionals.

| I'll cut the club some slack. I can see that they may think sending out season to ticket info when people are busy spending up at Christmas, busy preparing for Christmas may mot be a great idea.
However I find it unbelievable that there has not been a simple update to the website. Even if it's only the press release and an article setting out rough timescales for the release of ticketing info etc and apologising for recent events. Follow that up with targeted e-mails to last years season ticket holders, people known to have attended last year, people who used to watch us with addresses close to Barnet again giving basic timescales, ground info, players under contract etc. (Only at Broncos would the local media not know whether we have 6 or 12 players under contract.)
I accept the above probably isn't the remit of any of our known full timers and it may require a pro brought in which will cost. (Is Steve available?) However the long term cost of doing nothing could be far higher looking at the mood of very loyal and longstanding fans on this board.

| Some interesting views above, the management has to change and in my view now is the time to launch season ticket details, in the past I have given them as xmas presents either in the book format or by voucher saying look what is on the way.

Similar feelings to mine - I have been a season ticket holder for a number of seasons but I'm not going to blindly buy one this season, will get to a fair few games but am going to go to Perpignan this summer so will hold some dough back for that! I want to see if this new set up is any different or if it's going to be 'as you were' only in a different location. While I am glad that we're in business for 2014 but without some serious changes behind the scenes I can't see this being anything but a sticking plaster over a very deep wound!
Install some competent sports professionals - NOW!

| Why would anyone invest in a season ticket at this point in time without knowing what is planned for next year?
All we know is that we have secured a ground for next season, with an option for 2015 should we still exist.
We know nothing about the level of investment that DH is prepared to make; is it the £1.6 or a lot less……this is fundamental to all our plans and recruitment for 2014.
Appointment of assistant coach…..unconfirmed.
No back room staff to support the team.
No back office as far as I am aware beyond Gus.
Recruitment plans?
Academy?
Players still on the books?
Given DH/GM`s track record I suspect that they will see the events of the last 6-12 months as nothing but an internal hiccup; they will not feel the need to explain themselves and take the lazy route as they have done so many times before. There will not be any grand announcements; no re-launch; no marketing strategy; no marquee players; no new kit………..you name it. All that has happened is that the club has negotiated a reprieve for the coming season; nothing will change and we will continue as before.
As with many others on here I have supported the club for more years than I care to remember, but I am all but done with it and will certainly not be buying a ST until I know more and can see significant signs of change and improvement.

| Yep, I would have made the Christmas market a priority, when I told the missus we had survived, she got on-line, looking to buy my shirt as a Xmas pressie, after a few minutes, she looked up and said "Are you sure their still in business?".

Theres nothing stupid about loyalty bri', but there is something unsavourey about those simply taking it as read and abusing it. It's not the fans anyone is railing against, it's Hughes, McKay, the RFL, SLE and Sky TV and the rest of the "build it and they'll come" Brigade.

Considering the money DH stands to lose by continuing on, the idea that he would do so just to put a smile on the face of the RFL is rather vaieve IMO. The poor guy is having to work on past his retirement age to keep this club afloat and despite what people think of his running of the club i doubt many on here would do so and derinately not for the RFL.
Whether we find out now what the long term plan is or not im convinced there has to be one and eventually e will see it. Hopefully it involves IL at Wigan.
Things are very trying for us all at the moment but at least we have a club now. As far as the admin goes didnt we work out that the Barnet FC would cover both clubs to save money?

I've never spoken to David Hughes but I know Vitol and I know several people working there. If he's working on past retirement age - which is something I'd question because I know he is a shareholder at Vitol so he's quids in even after retirement, he's still there because he wants to be - then it's not on behalf of London Broncos, the money he loses on this club is loose change out of his bonus.
The second point, isn't that part of the problem? None of us know what's happening at the club at all, we're simply guessing. Four days on from the announcement and we've not heard a thing.

| It's no big surprise there's been no news yet, considering there's no back room staff at all. Who's there that can update facebook, twitter, do media releases? Nobody.
I think the plan is year 1 DH/GM 'run' the club. AK is so impressed with us that year 2 he buys in and takes over long term.
I think we all know what will really happen.

| Yep, I'm going to buy a season ticket.
I'm absolutely sick of all the negative e we get from a significant proportion of supposed RL fans from the north who would love nothing more than to see the Broncos lay down and die. I don't want to see any club die, particularly the one I've been watching since 1980. So this is my small way of saying "stuff you, you myopic, flat-capped morons".

We have a club run by buffoons in terminal decline. How is that serving the best long term interests of RL down south ?

I don't imagine that this would annoy them.
I'm not sure why you would do this. If you enjoy watching rugby then buy a season ticket but do it for positive reasons not because you think it will annoy someone that you will probably never meet.

You need to understand that it is not Barnet FC that runs the marketing and ticketing. It also the case that Barnets attendance is one of the highest in it's league and is for many of it's fans a team playing away from home surrounded by many clubs bigger than itself .
The Hive will run ticketing etc. They have 9 football pitches constantly in use, a 600 member gym, 4 bars, 500 seater conference room, 10 training rooms and a multi million pound sports injury clinic which is one of only 2 of it's type in the country etc. They have hosted international football teams like Brazil and Germany, were the base for the Olympic officials, Uefa champions league final rehearsals. Have been used for several adverts and recently hosted the Womens Super League Cup final with nearly 4000 spectators
The Hive is a 25 million pound complex of which the stadium is a part. They have gained a worldwide reputation for excellent sporting facilities so do not dismiss them as a conference level football club as the complex and the admin that run it is much bigger than that. It is currently ranked in the top 100 training centres in the world.
