Well Im looking forward to this match having apparently now
been given the right ticket. And its only half my normal travel time.

I'm going to try and make it to the Stoop on Monday to go to the office for my ticket, also hoping they've got the new stock of clothing in by then too. Seems baffling what's happened with the tickets, I'm also hoping that splitting us across two stands won't make the low crowd attendance these days even more obvious.

I think the club have tried to do the right thing in giving the best seats to STH's with the most expensive tickets, but sadly it's back-fired on them.

Matthew- I've got a feeling there will be a decent crowd there and I think we are all in the same stand (west) but there's fancy seating in the West called The Gallery which the Sooper Doopers are getting.

That's how I understand it (if Orientwesty sees this perhaps he'll confirm...if he can be rssed!)

You've got me expecting a throne, but I suspect it might mean 'there's no holes in the seats'

I spoke to Orientwestsider earlier on today and he says he will be posting some info
that maybe useful to us on the day, including a suggested pub for meeting up at before hand.

Wish they would send me ticket too. Have I been sold a dud ST in that I cannot access all our "home" games?

You will be pleased to know, that the super dooper seats at Orient are in fact slightly padded, this does help when you watch rubbish in the cold most weeks, great for the piles, i have been told.

These seats are in the middle of the stand, above players tunnel and dug outs etc, to access these you actually come in via middle tier of stand and walk down, quite a grand entrance really.

The other sections, left and right, you walk in at ground level and walk up etc, so if you plan to meet people, you really do need to get the turnstile number correct etc, as you can not walk along whole length of stand etc.

WORDS OF WARNING: The West Stand is dammm steep and causes a lot of issues to people in falling down, so be warned, take time etc, especially if slightly beered up.

Sooper dooper seats have own bar and lounge, very nice indeed, chumps at O's pay £600 a year for 23 games a season in this stand etc

After game it is best to stay in Gallery bar, players family are usually in here for footie, then head down to Supporters bar at ground level, with the entrance on street etc, this bar is excellent, has won many Camra awards and serves excellent ale for those of that ilk etc, otherwise its just the dreaded Kronenbourg or Fosters on Draught. great staff though

At Leyton, by Tube station, you really have only Three choices of pub locally

The Birkbeck Tavern: Birbeck Road, Leytonstone E11,
behind Leyton Tube by cemetary,turn left out tube, stairway at side of station, pub at top of this road.

My choice of local boozer, HOLSTEN on tap, good beer garden, I will be here from 11.00am, so I can meet you all at tube, or just come and join etc, only 10 mins walk to turnstiles, similar stoop to station etc

This is going slightly away from ground etc, but still on high road, OK boozer, 2nd choice etc, will most probably go here after Birbeck at around 12.45

This boozer stinks of and is generally for away footie fans, only venture if you have been innoculated or you cannot smell anything through your nose. place is awful, i even managed to get my self barred out this place about three weeks ago, used to drink in this place, when i was 14 years old, done me a favour, if you really must visit, would say, bypass and go to supporters club before game. Though the supporters club, will be better after game etc.

Its a real result just living 5 stops away on tube, so happy days,

My only other concern is the turnstile number on people tickets, were they given all the same etc, as it may end up people not being able to sit together as at opposite ends of stand etc.

This is what you get when taking a game on the road and no one really bothers to to a recce etc, again, the fans are not thought of in simple turns,

oh, I nearly forgot, we could also go and have a few cans in Coronation Gardens, a park outside the ground, the local E. Europeans love this place and its bench's, a few good offy's on way down from tube, serve every polish and russian beer, you could ever want, simples

Also i just only noticed at "The Matchroom Stadium" today, watching the worst pile of crap for 35 years, the ground does not have a clock to countdown etc......DOH, do we have to have one in SL ????

Went to get my ticket yesterday but there's something going on around the M4 bit of the A312, going back to mine from Surbiton on Sunday I had to detour and huge queues towards it yesterday, might be a good thing we're not all heading to the Stoop for a couple of months if there's an ongoing problem!

I also have a friend- who otherwise has his faculties- who wishes to come.

Any idea how I buy him a ticket as it isn't shown on the Broncos webs(h)ite?

Is this the first email you've had from essentially the RFL, promoting a Broncos game?

If it is, the plot thickens.....will the RFL only help us if we sever ties with our union landlords? If so, I'd love to hear why, given another football code is the landlords at other clubs.......

No Gutters, I have had a few e-mails (I think I've mentioned it on here before).

Are these emails a result of you subscribing to them or are they because you bought tickets for a RFL event (magic/internationals/CC Final)?

I ask because the RFL claimed 50% of the attendance at the double header last year were from the south East and I was wondering if the RFL had this database of 20,000 southern league fans? I would hate to guess as to the size of the Clubs database, but I do recall being told in 2008 that there were 2 seperate lists...one of subscribers and another from the ticket office......there was no "central" database.

If the club has much more than 2,500 on its database I'd be stunned.

Certainly because of ticket purchases, and not necessarily recent ones too.
