are looking for volunteers to help clear the pitch of snow from 1500 tomorrow.

The game's off because the Crusaders can't make it from Wales.

This is odd IMO. How can Plymouth fans get to Newcastle and Reading fans to Liverpool and back and Crusaders not travel down the M6? Maybe they can't raise a team? Shame for Jon, maybe we could play Cas or Wakey later on in the season when they are kncoked out of the CC.

Quite right PP. My old boss is in charge of snow clearing close to that neck of the wood. I spoke to him yesterday and the most they've had is 2 to 3" and all main routes were clear.

The upside for JW is that more people will fancy watching a game later on in the year than standing on a cold wet terrace on a dark January night

Why not designate the Storm game to be the testimonial?

I think they couldn't raise a team. Jon can keep my tenner (but I would like the £3 booking fee back - or go to him).

To repeat what I've just posted on the Crusaders board - I could get from where I live just outside Newtown to London now without any problems, I reckon PP is right.
