Seriously though, if anyone has the 4 logos in decent nick then I think we should use them. If not, we could look at getting them rebuilt by listy's designer mate.

Think I've got the chevron at about the right angle, had my anniversary shirt in front of me while I did it !! put the extra red line in as the old Fulham shirt used to be.

It's a shame that the Quins logo is an oblong shape, makes it look out of balance but I'm sure that Listy's mate may be able to do something with it ????

Dave Lister asked that I have a look at the flag ideas and draw them up for you.

To be honest, you have good enough mock-ups as it is, but I will offer a couple of suggestions based on what I have been told from making some other flags.

Your best looking suggestion has the Fulham chevron and the badges of the four clubs:



Looks good, but price may be an issue. Two of the things that push the price up with an embroidered flag are the number of colours and the detail. Unfortunately this flag would have lots of both.
If you do go with this one, I will add an outline to the harlequin figure to match the others and make it stand out more.

The alternative was for a chevron without badges, at an angle similar to the original Fulham shirt:



The chevron is thinner with this one, to make room for larger text.

To avoid the "RL" is getting squashed, you could change the angle of the chevron to be a bit steeper:



Might not be as authentic, but I think it has slightly better balance.

Overall, I would go without the badges. You would be paying a lot for detail and colours that could not be seen apart from up close. The only way it would be affordable would be to have it printed, which I know people have done with companies abroad. I do prefer the stitched flags though as I don't think the colours are as sharp with printed ones and they seem to fade quicker.

I have drawn the logos as separate images. They are not perfect, but you are welcome to have them. I will send them on to Dave Lister.

Personally I think it would be better without the logos. Not even from the cost point of view, just think the more plain design looks better

Barmy Flags have e-mailed me too, and offered me a quote for a 12 x 6 (smaller than the first flag); this came to £160. I have asked for the next size up as well.

That was for the middle design btw.

Those 2 logos that Rolf has done are superb and could be very useful in future too.

Dave how much cash have you collected for the flag so far?

Also do you still have the other London underground design banner?

Also think ralphs efforts were great and I would vote for the decks one

Only £40 collected so far, plus £20 from me, I doubt it will take us long to raise the funds.

I do have it, I'm hoping to either a) gain a few more volunteers to look after it or b) leave it at the club (ideal solution). I think I'll start a new thread tomorrow.

BG, whats the program you use? I do alot of modding for the RL PC games and i have alot of scanned logos/crests, would be ideal to convert them into vector graphics.
