The announced figure will be around 1900. The actual attendance will be about 400 shy of that.

Forget the Wakey game, the attendance against Catalans could be truely horrific!

Perhaps it's a case of no-one being prepared to take on the job. Also, don't forget that the RFL have said that a club could lose its licence mid-stream.

Would be nice of the club to clarify the situation officially one way or another instead of posting offensive tripe on Facebook that has somehow succeeded in winding supporters up even more.

Maybe the club have arranged an exclusive with our official media partner and there will be something in the Standard tonight?

If I were Halifax RLFC I'd be on to the RFL now letting them know that the club was ready to step up if required, because this is looking like the begining of the end......

The no-shirt-sponsor is the really telling part of this season. It just looks strange. And at 50 quid for a replica short sleeved jersey in the club shop is too much for what equates to a baggy tee shirt. I've not wasted my cash on one for me or one each for the kids either.

First year as a ST holder, I've brought at least 1 person with me to every match so far, and will be again on Saturday.

So I reckon there'll be at least 5 of us there (I can count the ref and line judges right?)

I would say probably 1,800 in the "announced" attendance, but agree that the Catalans crowd on the Thursday night will be horrendous.

I just wonder if someone at the club has spread bet on whether we can get the lowest SL crowd this season. Would be a good bet, unless those pesky Wakeyites and Cataloons mess it up!

I believe so....the Sharks are in the last chance saloon IMO.......they need to up their game both on and off the pitch or they may well be shown the door if the NRL decides to stay at 16 but realise they need another State involved (Perth Reds).

Because it's on Sky also means that it will be an early evening kick off, which means it will affect quite a few Wakey fans like myself who prefer to let the train take the strain, the last train departing from kings Cross is 20.15 which makes anything from a 17.30 kick off virtually impossible to catch.

Somewhat OT, but the franchise for that line needs to be moved to a company that will provide a decent service. I travel in from the west (Bristol line) and the last train out of Paddington is at 23.30. Get on to your M.P.
