Depends on wether we have any spots available i guess. If we have we should make sure we get some quality rather than just another journeyman.

hmm Sammut was invited down we were told but wanted to stay at Bradford. As long as they can get a club along the M62 they will take it rather than move to London.

Im sure it will be sorted as the owner will not want to lose his cash if they go t*ts up.

Sammut has form. Four clubs have gone bust whilst he was a player : Gateshead, Crusaders and Bulls twice. He is a Jonah and should be avoided at all costs. But then again we are the Broncos and are bomb-proof!

I really hope you have a decent side next year but the names currently mentioned don't fill me with optimism.

I've a lot of time for Broncos and Tony Rae but you've a real mountain to climb.

I'm sure the top 4-5 sides could loan some players of reasonable quality and if that happens I think Rae could mould something,

The pack needs to be able to match the rest.
If you then get say Gareth O'Brien from Wolves (who has always played well in the first team when given a chance) and an older hand in the halves or say Hodgeson at full back then you'll be OK.

Just hope you don't promote too many from within to soon.

They can't be dual registered but should be available to loan if the quota/non fed spot is available. Wasn't Soward essentially on loan last year?

Loanies will be the only quality we can attract after the dreadful way MacKay treated the players at the end of last season.

A couple of players that we released that don't have clubs announced - no idea what they're doing, but they might be options.

Con Mika. Talented but erratic. If you get a dispensation on non-fed, he'd be worth a look, IMO.
George Griffin. Good young player, a victim of not qualifying as club-trained, I reckon. Not the finished article, but wouldn't look out of place in any SL squad, and 2 or 3 starting 17s. If London are looking beyond next season and mainly loan signings, he'd be a good choice.

Championship is defo worth a look.... ok, the player might not have the SL experience, but whose to say they wouldn't succeed? Just look at Chris Hill of Warrington... Championship player who turned out for England within 2 years of coming to SL. We can't afford to shut the door on Championship options.... but we need to make sure they are at the top end (quality wise) of that league.

With the exodus to Australia of our best players and not much coming back im sure all the clubs on the M62 are scrutinising the Championship very carefully now for any potential SL standard players. Be surprised if we can see something they can't
