| It's a f#&£)ing black T shirt.
I'd they stick that multicoloured sponsor from the play offs on that, the trim on the sleeves is lost....it really is a lazy lazy design......
....whilst I'd love to have a shirt available, on a scale of 1-10 it's about a 1 in the greater scheme of things. I'd rather pay in Gus's hoops in front of 4,000 fans rather than have hughes fleece 100 or so folk for yet another year...

Less is more. Obviously the sponsors logo might make or break it (bit like DHL is a horrid logo on a Harlequins shirt compared to their previous sponsors) but I think it is more than ok. Have even convinced a lapsed Bronco to invest in 1. Reminds me a bit of our Quins away shirt that was white with the quins colours around the sleeve.

I'll leave you to tell your adopted homeland that the ABs play in a black tee shirt then.

The All Blacks you mean? Yeah.....they play in a black T-shirt that is known even in far flung places like America, whilst I doubt there's a hundred people in Merton know we exist, so good comparison there....well done you {sigh}
It is a black T shirt. 20 years ago every team went through the "black shirt sells well" campaign including football clubs. The feeling being that a black shirt would be ok work out other than on game day......problem is, when Wigan did it they were already selling 5,000 home shirts too.
This is a gimmick that has been easily sold to a useless management and shows how inept they really are.
That's my opinion of course. I may be wrong, but history shows that I am pretty accurate at these things and often not in hindsight but foresight.

Don't disagree with you in principle about black shirts in this day & age. In 1980 it was fine, even chevrons were fine but I never understood when we changed from Quins back to Broncos, we adopted a Fulham shirt rather than our SL Runners Up shirt or our Challenge Cup Final shirt. Both of those are better than what we have had. I'm just saying if we have to have a black shirt, then an unfussy one is better.
Happy for you to provide next weekend's lottery numbers though.

| Wigan away & HKR 3rd (!!!) are particularly horrid as is Leeds away. While I would prefer my avatar shirt, the plain black compares well. But as I said earlier, it can be spoilt with a naff sponsors logo.

| HOW TO DO IT with a plain black shirt....
Of course, you have to gey buy in from the sponsors and I suspect Vodafone and Lion Red (undrinkable but cheap beer popular in south Auckland) were both big enough brands to swallow it for that season. Alas, once Vodafone sold themselves to a new entity, ONE, there was little chance of that brand accepting such a move whilst in it's infancy.....(I still bought one though[size=50{from aliexpress}[/size)

| Quote ="BigTime"I like it and think it’s quite stylish, pending what they do with sponsors logos (assuming we get them this year), however I can definitely see the argument that it is the laziest design of all time and someone has pulled an absolute flanker. On balance I’m going with deliberately Minamalist and stylish rather than the latter.'"
Its very slowly growing on me. I was quite disappointed on initial viewing. Hopefully we do something more than just slap the sponsor logos on and actually make them part of the design.
If we are going to go minimalist/understated for the home jersey, then I'd like to see us do something a bit more eye catching for the away version. Especially with the extra SL exposure. Errea do have a lot of fun designs from outside of Rugby/Football that might be transferrable.

I’m going the other way on this one. Initially I thought it was stylish, now I’m wondering if I’ve been mugged. I assume they start with a blank palette of black or white and then Build up the design. Did the designer knock off at lunch time, have a heavy one and quickly add in a couple of stripes on the sleeves when he rolled in at 4.55. We’ll never know. Interesting to see what sponsors we have. Other teams have announced I believe but we go our own way.

| The whole issue with the merch this year for me was the quality in general. I bought a home shirt and it's fine, but not massively impressive, especially given the wait time. I thought the away shirt was marginally better. I'm not saying we need to go into the realms of Hull FC/Castore/50 quid hoodies, however some items of better quality and design wouldn't go amiss.

| So now we know new shirts before Christmas was but a fleeting hope. Still a good trick to get the email sent from the bloke who played Henry Hook in Zulu despite dying in 2005. That's the sort of Magic we need to stay in Super League. Next a reincarnation of Marty McLindon please.

Saving the planet has to be easier than saving the Broncos! He still moves well though.

| Received a voucher today for 2 shirts I bought online .it said either redeem in the club shop or post voucher back with name/address. Can't the club just post them out when they're in.

The idea is that if you have bought a shirt as a gift for Christmas , you can give the recipient the voucher.

Remind me. Did we not pay P+P in which case club will need to post to me rather than we faffing about sending them my postal details again. I suspect Victor is right though that this is a way of be8ng able to give people a present in the form of voucher as shirts aren’t ready. Me I’d prefer the shirts were ready for Christmas but hey Ho the squad doesn’t look ready so why would the shirts be.

To be fair BT the shirts are normally ready long before the squad is complete. Were we not 3/4 of the way through the season before we signed Whare & Norman.

| So the club website seems to have had a little bit of an update. Some new sponsor logos on the landing pages and different layouts for some of the different sections. All looks a bit work in progress but gives a hint as to who might be on the shirts next season.

Yes I noticed that. A few have gone Stubborn Rhino , Dragon Soop in to go with the 2 other energy drink suppliers. Hoping they are going to add a few more it looks a little light again.

8% far too strong a brew to appear on Premier League shirts, just another vodka based trendy drink. Hope they are paying very big bucks for us to put our name to this.

Looks like they sponsor a few other sports teams, most notably Dundee United FC. It would be good to line up someone a bit more "blue chip", but I guess we'll see how it plays out.
