We just need to get the Halifax game out of the way. Rest a few players and avoid injuries at all cost.
The result to us is of little importance after all.

If my understanding is correct and Huddersfield lose to Warrington and Salford lose tonight to Hull, both possible, we get Rhinos and KR at our place.

Frankly that is brilliant, regardless of result, they bring good numbers, play decent rugby league and are sure to be a draw card.

When do the fixtures etc get released, exciting times

I bet that comes as a real eyeopener for some. Your best hope is not to draw three SL teams on the bounce as we had last season.

Atomic, think it was backchat where that whole issue was mentioned and seen as probably the reason why it ended up why it did with your lot put everything into the first few games and then being blown out of the water basically because you were run ragged.
You would like to think that the RFL might have corrected that problem, although not holding my breath

Salford have added Felita Mateo and one of the Burgess bros to strengthen the squad considering they are only in middle 8 coz of points deduction as well I think they will be hard to beat
We need to target our home game against kr as a priority if we have any chance of turning over a SL team win that and all our games against the other champ teams and we are in the fught

Feleti Mateo could not catch a cold when he played for us, let alone a rugby ball. However that was over ten years ago.
I hope he disappoints Salford as he did us.

A lot of players that played for us could not catch a cold but when they move on they do pretty well. Feliti has been playing at a pretty decent level and not doing too bad I would not take him lightly he is a quality player

Only time will tell.
He came to us and we had great expectations for him, but he failed to deliver.
His one great asset is that he holds a British passport.

I thought Mateo was pretty impressive for us, unless I am confusing him with someone else. Did he play in the team that made the play-offs? We lost to Bradford and I think he scored?

Feleti Mateo played about half a season, scored one try. Got himself into some really good positions, just kept dropping the ball.
Frustrated the hell out of the coaching staff.

As I understand it our Middle 8s game will be played on Sundays. Televised games will be played on Saturdays.
Super 8 games will be the Thursday and Friday televised games. Non televised Super 8 games are as arranged.

The thing with feleti was that was then and this is now, he can't have been doing too bad as he has been coping ok in the NRL comp.
I hope we stick with Sundays for our home games, as for the away games I believe they are still to be planned, I hope we get Salford weekend of the 17/18 Army RL have their round of the inter services that weekend with the main inter service game being a curtain raiser. So Salford WILL be at home that weekend if it's us then I get double bubble.

This is my understanding too, i had heard all teams are guaranteed one home game on tv too but thinking about it that can't work with a seven week comp and one TV game a week, one team can't be broadcast at home. Maybe we are just guaranteed to be on tv once.

They still would have been in the top 8, which means they have actually performed better this season than the table shows.

TV games are Saturday at 3pm I believe. Whether they end up doing sky sport xtra again like last year remains to be seen but hopefully they do.
