As we know that the result at Fev is just a matter of how many they score, I thought instead of asking how will we do, the question is more, will we score.

So predictions on if the mighty Broncos will actually score a try on Sat. Personally I think they will, but only 1, so end up with 4 points, I think they will score early in the 1st half.

I’m not sure we will score but if we do it will be in the corner and we won’t kick any points. I think our defence is pretty stout but they are good and will wear us down. Might not be quite as bad as some predict but high 40s/ low 50s.

Given that the match might be affected by remnants of the storm, already predicting 90% chance of rain 6mm & winds 25-35 mph could be a lottery. With luck our team can either swim or have experience of mud wrestling.

It definitely important we score in home games to give interest to undecided new fans but I’m not sure that trying to batter our way over a well defended line or predictably wafting the ball through on the last is the way it works against decent sides, which, sadly, the majority of Championship sides are.

That is true. As we have raided Skolars until they have no team left and I suspect there is a rule against kids playing against adults I assume we would forfeit which isn’t a great look.
There will come a point in the season when it is just too late. I assume the club know this.

That point was July 2021......when Ward was removed ad the decision made to go part time made by Hughes. There's no a chance in hell that London Broncos will avoid the drop this year unless there's a change of structure.

The match is in doubt due to the weather. If it happens expect a substantial number of Skolars registered players to be in the Broncos team

That’s the status quo now Dan. I think we may be getting into the 3 ex Academy lads which really will be a mis-match and may harm their confidence. In the ordinary course of business they would be eased in via Skolars or at the end of the season.

Not quite. A little birdie tells me these are 2022 Skolars registered players. Not ex Skolars players now registered with Broncos.

Something just isn’t right here. Let’s see where we are after the York game. If it’s 0-6 then no amount of “we’ve had injuries” can make sense of this approach. It’s just not joined up: expensive ground/ training facilities versus bare bones squad and back room operation. Does anyone really think this will come good?
