I am so pleased that a proper RL club has returned to London. I am rather surprised however that those of you who abused me for my calls for a return to the Broncos name are still here. I would have thought you would have been busy setting up a phoenix club ARLFC Harlequins in the mode of AFC Wimbledon. You make me sick.

Excuse me but AFC Wimbledon were set up by the fans after their original club was hauled up from their roots and moved north. Not good form to lump them in with ARLHarlequins two complete different cases.

AFC Wimbledon is not the same issue. The whole football club was sold off which was not the case when Broncos moved to Harlequins who had the opportunity to "buy" into the cause and declined leaving IL and DH to pick up the tab and there was no change in ownership only a name!

RL is RL whatever colour the shirt and whatever the name (in my humble opinion of course). You sir have yours and I think we agree to differ.

BTW, Harlequins Rugby League did not die in the sense that you mean....the club, at the time of it morphing into London Broncos v.2 had no debts, no loans and no b'stards from the IR chasing it......the average crowd over the 5 years is almost identical to those of the preceeding 5 years, so when you and your 8,000 return, the Stoop will be a rocking!
As for that...I take it you're OK with the club paying the Union lot to use their stadium?
Without the arrangement to share a bunk with the Quartered shirts, IL and any hope of a future for the ESL club in London would have disapeared and therefore, the decision was taken to do what was required. If Wigan hadn't come on the market, the club would still be Harlequins Rugby League, of that I am 100% sure.

Personally I am outraged that the club hasn't changed back to its proper name of Fulham RLFC and moved back to its spiritual home of the Chiswick Poly Ground. I plan to boycott it (with some several thousand others) until the club turns it back on a contrived Americanism cribbed from an obscure Australian team (although I may wait until the other side of the weekend so i get a trip to france first).
