Quote ="Surreyben"This whole thing has a very nasty stink to it. Very poor excuse from Crusaders and highly suspicious as well. Surely it's more to do with having a lack of players than not being able to get to Roehampton. I expect Rosslyn Park are pretty peed off as well, would have been extra bar money for them!'"
I looked on the Wrexham AFC website yesterday and there was a news item about Crusaders being unable to travel for our fixture because of the weather. Then there was a subsequent item, posted at a later time, describing how Wrexham supporters had mucked in to shovel tons of snow off the Racecourse Ground pitch in the hope that their match with Stevenage Borough could go ahead. As it happens the pitch was frozen and the match called off on friday morning, but there wouldn't have been much point attempting to make the pitch playable unless Stevenage could travel to Wrexham in the first place. So if Stevenage can travel to Wrexham why couldn't Crusaders do a similar journey in reverse?
