As said previously it was a vey enjoyable ,relaxed evening...quite a few players attended..Wellsy(obviously),Purdo,Chris Melling,Danny Orr,Luke Dorn,Louie,Jason Golden, Dave Williams, Andy Ellis ..Probably one or two who I cant recall but a combination of Guiness and Budweiser has clouded my memory somewhat.......John showed his gratitude to everyone who went and i,m glad I didnt have an early start for training the following day like he did.....Calenders are top class, as are the JW2010 shirts.....

wonder what the odds are on a cold snap or a dumping of snow that weekend so game gets cancelled again
wonder how "widnes" crusaders will shape up this year with nobby running things? wonder if it was cheaper to move to wrexham lock stock rather than paying nobbies travelling expenses!

Back to the thread tho, good that the launch of the testimonial got a good turn out
as for pre season games, do think the injuries that can result can be a problem, but balanced out with being undercooked! who knows what the best option is
