I saw a terrific match in the National Conference Division yesterday; second placed Underbank beat leaders Bramley 30-28 with a stoppage time try after leading 16-0 then trailing 16-26. You haven't seen an "undulating pitch" until you've visited Underbank! Facilities were basic, a railed off pitch with a clubhouse/dressing rooms on one side and a dry stone wall separating the ground from an adjacent farm on the other, but the standard of play was very competitive.

Today I saw another close game in NL2 with Oldham losing 22-24 at home to Keighley.
