Winning this would take some of the pressure off us and leave more of it on Widnes and Leigh when we play them at home.

Rankin should be available so he will play- where is anyone's guess.
Ridyard may or may not play- if not:
Rankin and Gaskell could both play either in the halves, at full back or centre. Darnell could play either at full back or on the wing if smurph goes back to centre.
Will RS put Gaskell in the halves, Darnell at full back and rankin at centre. That way rankin doesn't need to pick up too many of the plays and there's less disruption to the side. Do we need a bit more creativity so put rankin in halves or FB.
Two wins will see us safe I reckon. Hope this is the first.

For me Smurph has got to stay on the wing and his partnership with Gaskell has been going well last 2 games before been interrupted by foul play.

If Ridyard can play then I would drop McIntosh at the moment and put Rankin straight in at FB.

If Ridyard can't play then just swap Rankin for Ridyard in the halves.

If Ferguson, Rapira & O Brien are both fit I would go:

i rate salford, real attacking threat to anyone, but they have been abit shaky of late so could get the win and continue our good run of form

Well tried to ring Salford to find out if there were alternative seating my mum could use, e.g disabled seating- what a blooming joke they are!
Got through to the ticket office- the lady I spoke to didn't speak (or it appears understand) good English. Tried to explain my mum couldn't stand was there an alternative. All I could establish was that she couldn't sell me a ticket. I asked her to put me through to someone who I could get some information from. She gave me two 0800 numbers to ring. The first she told me was for "sales" That turned out to be the number for Sale sharks!!!! The second number she gave me just sent me through a press this number system and ended up back to her again.
Tried a third time- this time the number I got put me through to ticketmaster. The lady at least understood what my request was there took my details and I'm hoping someone will ring me back today!!!

Sounds as much a farce as it is on matchdays there then.

Hi Jools - I can bring a folding chair that packs in to a small carry bag if you think that may help and be allowed? Sure you could find a spot where your mum could sit near our fans and get a decent view if so.

Cheers Devonian- I did think of that and wondered about getting one - asked the question about whether it would be allowed when I rang the ticket office however they didn't seem to know whether I could bring it in.

I see Jools has started their anual rant about the AJ Bell Stadium early. The North stand terrace has been the away supporters stand for 4 years, yet she seems suprised by this?

This year her rant is that there are no seats in a standing terrace. There are seats in the West Stand and those beside the North Stand are the same price as standing. There are places for wheelchairs in the Standing North stand yet this appears unacceptable.?

On this forum given the number of the stadium who can arrange all this and parking if needed. (Info easily available on Salfords web site, yet phones a Sale Sharks number then ticket master, so she can have a whine on here!)

And before you ask, there are no gluten free options in the food stands.

Last year her rant was about dicing with death crossing a busy dual carriage way ignoring the pedestrian crossing 100 m down the road.

The year before was a rant about traffic leaving the stadium.

Jools, do us all a favour and stay at home!
