I'm his short spell, I actually thought brown was the strongest half. Scored one and set one up. Good to see Jerry score his first for England.

Jerry would have more chance of getting a pass from Lord Lucan, in fact when Watkins has the ball Jerry may as well go for a sit down in the stands, was same when jerry made his England debut last year, on 3 or 4 occasions he was in acres of space and Watkins refused to pass and took the tackle.

And Leroy must be wondering how the hell he wasn't playing over ANY of the other centres

Our halfs didn't need to do much special,our forwards were far too strong for the French.

Not great preparation going into a game against NZ.Despite Catalans SL having been around for a few years now the French national team doesn't seem to improve much,sure the comms said it is 26 years since they beat England.Contrast that to Aus vs NZ last week.

Avignon always turn out in numbers to watch France,like you say must be disappointing for them,same old story.

Jerry & Kallum Watkins will get hugely tested on defence on Saturday,hope they are up for the challenge.

we need to keep it up with the french now, only way they will get better and therefore improve us too as a test match, keep playing the game in france too where they tend to fair abit better than when they visit here

They've got some decent backs,if they could get some forward power it could be a true 4 nations.The French fans always turn out in good numbers now,there would be a lot more if they could get competitive up front.Live in hope.
