If you could have any 3 players for next season who would they be? Try keep it realistic to our situation though.

For me:

1. Paul McShane - feel like we've desperately lacked a good Hooker this year. Hinchcliffe is a loose to me.

2. Nathan Ross - signed for Leigh this year only for Newcastle to block the move. Been in great form this year and scored some great tries. Would add some strike to our centres and good replacement for Wardle.

3. Brett Stewart - would be a huge gamble, but if we could get two years out of him then he'd definitely be worth it. In need of a quality fullback and there really aren't many available out there. Stone obviously doesn't believe brierley is ready for a starting spot..

Mason Caton-Brown is ooc I would take him in a heartbeat apparently he is not staying at Salford

Hooker - Eloi Pelissier - good entertainment value.
Prop - Sam Lisone - an islander so assume not on a quota.
FB - Max Jowitt - seems like the best FB prospect going around just now.

Who you like and who you can get are two different matters.

You can have any three players in the world and people are naming the likes of Paul Mcshane and Mason Caton Brown i despair.

If you read what I put I said be as realistic as possible. Not just 3 random players, that would be too easy. Also, what's wrong with McShane and Caton-Brown? McShane is a great English Hooker, and Mason has been in unbelievable form for Salford, some of the tries he's scored in the last month have been world class.

Caton Brown has a lot of potential but has struggled to get in the Salford side regularly in the last two seasons and winger is the least of the Giants concerns for strengthening.
McShane has never really impressed me and we have to be looking at better than him.

I would be looking at a fullback and hooker as the two main priorities and maybe a pack enforcer or also a quality centre. Someone like Escare must want more regular game time although i am not sure he would want to move to England.

full back has been a problem position for us ever since brett hodgson left

is brierley the man? if not then we should spend the money on that position

we may have it sorted with lee gaskell anyway for next year

the mason caton brown signing failed a while back when we tried to get him but salford won.

Any halfback with an eye for a gap and the pace to go through it occasionally, If Brierley is not to be given a chance.

Any fullback who is decent under the high ball, can make the odd one on one tackle, and make any sort of attempt to return the ball more than 5 yds.

Any prop who is capable of standing in the tackle, and getting a few offloads away,
