| moving on from that debacle at widnes we face castleford at home on friday night (least the atmosphere will be good)
brough has a dead leg but anderson says he will be ok to play.
anderson kept the same team after winning at saints, fair enough but they didnt get the win at widnes so a couple of changes id like to see.
brierley in for grix.
wardle back to centre as its not working for him in the 2nd row.
johnson could also have a chance to get a game again at prop.
after 3 games on the road it will be nice to get back at home again and continue our recent good home form (not lost since march)
we tend to play well against cas at home too

| Personally think it's a bigger game for Huddersfield then it is Cas and I dare say close to last chance saloon to get in the 8 even at this stage. Thus I think you'll come out all guns blazing. Our record at your place is nothing short of shambolic. I can remember us winning once there in the last 12 years. A lot of emphasis was put on Thaler last week but it doesn't hide the fact we shipped 33 at home to a team with an average attack. 30 22 my guess. Junior Moors will cause agrow. Ta'ai will no doubt score.

| My two favourite teams and potentially a great game, If both sides can play their Newcastle stuff it will be a game to remember. Funny old game, 30 years ago I would have been roaring Cas on, Friday I will be wearing a Giants shirt, and I believe we will win, As ever it will depend which side turns up, and I expect Cas will be thinking the same. Need Brough to be on the field if at all poss, and need to keep a leash on Gale. Solomona is a big threat but McGillivray can take care of him as long as he doesn't get dragged inside.
A bit off topic but there are strong rumors that Leeds are in the market for a new coach. D Powell sounds to be a favourite for the job with David Furner also mentioned, I hope Powell stays at Cas myself, I think he can do a lot more with them yet, Unless he has his eye on the Giants of course but the Leeds job is a big one and he could be tempted back there, I would say he is definitely destined for a big career in coaching either way.
It's only rumors of course at this stage, but just imagine , what is it ? 4 titles and the treble, I can think of clubs that would guarantee him his job forever, or at the very least 5 seasons to turn things round

| same 19 named for this game.
not sure why johnson is being left out, would like to see him and mason take it in turns maybe, keep them fresh.
wardle back to centre for me , hope anderson goes for this.
not sure if he will opt for brierley ahead of grix.
massive game, lose this and it will be the middle 8's, win and we can still get in the super 8's
bookies have us as the faves to win...
why are there no weekend games for this round?

| awful performance just awful
attack is shocking
short turnaround and injuries but still not on that performance
best get a reaction for the next game
brierley provided some spark when he came on, daft being on the bench?!

Nightmare performance.Short turnaround granted, but this was our last chance saloon wasn't it?
'Leggy' forwards unable to dominate collision, allowing cheap metres, while our sets resulted in insignificant gains.
Lots of one out carries, others couldn't be d pushing up.
Crap kicking game.
We could have been camped out in the Cas red zone, even now Saturday afternoon, and still be clueless in how to create an overlap.
Dropping off tackles all over the joint.
Other than that nowt to moan about

| cas just ran harder and made 10 metres every play, needed to meet them and put them on their backs to slow the ruck but we was losing the battle
we could have had the game won in the first half with the amount of possession we had on their line but our attack is pants..hinchliffe i thought could have helped !
our kicking game none existent , makes you wonder what they were practising all week?!! they are pros afterall, 1 good kick i think we did, followed by a pen

| The opposition always run harder than us- and usually always make more metres. Allowing them to run is I believe a tactic to "conserve energy". Not one I agree with as surely it makes the collision harder for those making the tackle. Look at most of our games over the last few seasons and you will see that the opposition will make more metres than us win or lose. Was the same under brown. How often did we complain they looked tired under him!

Jools you say you don't agree with PA's tactics, then go on to offset it by comparing them with another coach. N Brown is long gone, how we play now is down to PA.
