Ormsby won't be available for this game. So I expect Murphy back to wing and Connor at centre. Unless Ellis is back a couple of weeks early Leeming will be back on the bench.
Leeds will have a load back for this including moon, Maguire cuthbertson and hardaker. (Unless he's suspended after his Twitter meltdown which is unlikely).
We will be up against a very different side this week. I can't see Leeds making as many errors and missing as many tackles as they did last week. Key is complete our sets, don't give away penalties and improve our last tackle options- turn those held up over the line into tries!!!

Simply play what's in front of you. No doubt the names on Leeds team sheet will be more senior than last week. However there were still 17 good players out there last week and it was there defence which kept them in it. 5 times held up over the line and 3 try's turned over...pressure was there just the scramble from Leeds was awesome!
Amazed on the Leeds board on about a clear out (at least some of them) hall and abblet being called!

The same calls on ours last year. eorl and robbo- Eorl has been very solid this year and how we have bloomin missed the little ironman and his little darts from DH this season!!!!

I hope they are doing plenty of repetitive practice on our attacking structures this week.The fact we went into the sheds 8-4 behind after all that field position and the shifts we put on was a concern.

aye but leeds ended up paying for it in the end, drained them having to soak up pressure early doors.

Fair comment,but I'd rather see us turn pressure into points.Not wanting to put a downer on what was a good victory in the end but if Watkins had have touched that ball down late on before the Connor try,it would probably have been another hard luck story following on from all the other hard luck stories this time.

Just as well Watkins couldn't catch a cold in a nursery full of hundreds of snotty kids on Friday.
Equally if Johnson had touched that ball down, or Hinchcliffe, or wood it could have been a walkover.......

Absolutely - something we also failed to do against Warrington and Wigan. Both of which could have been easy wins had we done so early on!

Ormsby's metres are going to be hard to replace from last week.Suppose Smurph will go back to the wing but for me he looked dangerous every carry at centre.

He did- but a couple of times Ormsby had space and murph forgot to pass!!!

yes never confident when giants get infront that they can hold onto a lead anymore, just seems like they cant keep one for more than 5mins! getting abit better though

Shouldn't be too surprised with that sort of stuff by sports fans, some have little to no patience or short memories and only recall the last few games. As both our clubs have seen this year it's been pretty tough to get 17 fit players out on the pitch. We shouldn't be getting rid of proven quality that wouldn't exactly be easy to replace.

Certainly his best game so far this season-his last three performances have been much better than the poor start to the season he had by his standards, hopefully now he will go on to string a few more together like that please!!!

Always liked Smurph but it does bode the question that if he had/has World Class potential as a centre why did we not put Joe Wardle in the pack earlier and keep Jodie Broughton ??

Be ironic to now want to loan or sign Gene Ormsby for the left wing spot.

Because if ferres hadn't done what he did Wardle would still be at centre every week.

Joe Wardle played in the pack last season on occasions as have many centres,Lee Gilmore for example, it's a natural thing as they strengthen and mature.

Same thing happened to Mike Lawrence and Joe Wardle has all the assets to do the same.My comment is about the irony of needing a left winger when we let a good one go

Which would be true if we had "got rid" of one but we didn't, one chose to move on as he wanted more regular game time than he was getting......
It is ironic that given our injury problems he would have got a good chance to cement a spot this year - but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
The way Murphy was playing last season no one would have wanted him dropped for broughton, and imagine if young Connor had been left out- then the youngsters aren't getting a chance calls would be out.

He wouldn't have gone if we had been playing him and if the plan for Joe Wardle was as a 2nd rower to me it doesn't make sense.

However it is what it is be interesting to see the solution on Friday we can't afford to weaken the pack as we are on 'fumes' as it is.
