Huby out but the good news is Connor has been back in training so is in contention.

It's not the backs that are the problem it's the forwards Huby's injury couldn't have happened at a worse time.

I would always play Connor but he doesn't solve the problems that Huby's absence creates yes Eorl can come back in but Mason and Johnson struggled at Wigan to recreate their Warrington form and whilst they are young and inexperienced and it's understandable the loss of anyone else Rapira, Eorl, Ta'ai or Lawrence leaves us short of the experienced forwards we need on the field.

This season has been a killer. But a positive from it is our youngsters have gained valuable experience and This will stand them- and us - in good stead in the future.

If Connors fit then id go with

Anderson should put K Wood into acting half to try and get us on the front foot around the ruck IMHO.

Not getting his game plan of Hinch mostly throwing it wide from dummy half to the inside backs,who then just pass on to the 2nd row who gets hammered by defence who have had time to rush up.

I'm guessing he must defo be fit to play otherwise he'd have put leeming in the squad in front of young Wardle.

Agree. Like hinchcliffe, and his work rate, but he is getting predictable. Think last week vs Wigan was his first line break....?

I think that's a bit unfair it's hard to scoot from dummy half and break the line when our ptb is so untidy and as such we give the opposition defence so much time to get set.

He also has to do far more tackling than some of our previous hookers due to our poor ruck control he'd be a different player if we could get him on the front foot more often.

Would like to see him threaten/challenge the line much more frequently.

Me too- but we won't see it until the rest fight harder to get a quick ptb.
