| So Anderson confirmed that he will be available for the Leeds game! Would you bring him back in or keep this winning team the same? Big decision for our coaching team!

Barring injuries there is no reason to change the team, They are playing some of the best Football they have played all season, and they are winning. Even last night when they were not at their best and went behind at one point, they still threw the ball about, scored some nice try's and came up with the goods.
I have nothing against Ferris at all, It's a valid argument to say you should always play your top players in the big important games , Ferris has missed a lot of Rugby this time and to be honest he wasn't particularly great last time he came back. Wardle in the centre would not be weakening the side, though Conner is playing well, The point is would Ferris be any improvement on Wardle in the second row, or would Lawrence get the chop just when he is improving his go forward to compliment his great defence.
Big decision Mr Anderson, you could be proved right or wrong whichever way you go. This is the biggest game of our season, We beat Leeds and we have that all important home draw for the semi, Which ever team we get it will be a titanic struggle, they are all great sides, and the semi's are always said to be harder than the final. Win it and you have a 50/50 chance of lifting the greatest prise in the game.
Any Silverware is nice to win, I'd love to see K Davy lift some more, but I agree with DG this is the one that matters, Do whatever it takes to beat Leeds, Myself I would go with the same side but I'm not Mr Anderson

| maybe have him on the bench but as i said previously it would be a massive call to disrupt a winning team to accommodate a guy who has had very little (positive)impact on the season.
yes he's a class act on his day but it would be unfair to drop any of the guys who have done the business for us the last few weeks.

Presumably because he has a bigger rep than Conner.

| Giving this a lot of thought
Id say give Wardle and Taai a rest
Brett at 2nd row for Wardle and Bailey at 13 for Taai
Make sure that then Ferres has some match fitness back and Wardle and Taai are fully refreshed for the semi final - which is far far more important than the final 8s game.

Not sure I agree with that. The last 8's game is massive, win and we get a semi at home, and certainly would not swap Taai for Bailey. They don't need a rest there's only 3 games to play before they get a big rest.

| Not for me, can't see a place for him just now... Wardle is playing well at 2nd row, Connor & Murphy are starting to gel and ukuma is on fire ....he will have to be patient for me, like others have said he hasn't had such a good season and would be wholly unfair on the guys who have got us into this position now.

| He has to play. IF he doesn't and one of the back rowers gets injured then we will have to play Ferres in the semi-final with no games for ages under his belt. Rest one of the other lads for Leeds and then we have even more competition for places in the final two games.

| I keep trying to emphasise this to people! To our club a home semi final is MASSIVE! It could be the difference between giving Koppy and Jerry a contract or not!

Doing what needs to be done and winning the GF or even runners up would be more important long term.

| Ferres season should be over as far as I'm concerned. We having a winning team with a winning mentality.
But I don't have a doubt some unlucky fella will lose his place to him.
I'd be pretty annoyed if it was me.
Has he done anything in the games this season that merits a place in the team.
He's got injured twice and has let his emotions control him giving him a sending off.
He may be match fit for the final if we play him... Providing his lack of matches doesn't sabotage the semi.

| It better not be Bruno who will be dropped for him. A guy who has played twice as many games (although not full 80 mins) in that time has made half as many errors, given away less penalties, and missed half as many tackles compared to ferres. Those things are going to be important in the high intensity games where mistakes count.
So ferres might win us the game- but maybe he's just as likely to lose it for us.

| To be honest I'm not sure what possible rationale could be given to bringing him back! He had a very average season in 2014 littered with injuries and suspensions! And has played very little this year, and when he has I personally haven't been impressed! Winning team, with a winning mentality at the moment! Let's keep it that way

| Ferres offers a bigger attacking threat than any other forward. If fully fit i would play him. It would be unfortunate if someone misses out but i do believe he should be in our strongest 17. If there are doubts about is fitness though i would not play him.
And to those who say he had a poor 2014. In the last two seasons (2013-2014) he has played in 51 Super league games scored 24 tries and had 26 assists. Last season only Brough had more try assists.

| Whether or not Brett Ferres plays is up to Paul Anderson, who will no doubt have considered the pros and cons. If Brett IS selected, I hope all the negative comments on this thread will spur him on to have a blinder!

| You have to be kidding worst defence on Friday was Leroy for the try Yeaman scored !! Also Grix who was nearest man from the grubber we conceded from !!
We risked Bailey to rest Robbo on Friday so why not Hughes to rest Ferres to play ??
Also whilst Baileys dummy half play wasn't good he made 20 tackles not bad for a player out for so long then played in an unfamiliar position !!

| Maybe because Ferres and Hughes play different sides of the ruck?
Anyway I guess we'll see on Friday if we rest anyone or not

| I'm sure Wardle could play right as could Ferres might throw Leeds a wobbly but it's the boss's decision I'm in rare agreement with Jools we missed Robbo on Friday and Eorl.

im not judging the defence of those two on just hulls game.
robbo pulled up with a hamstring problem late in the day so wasnt risked
ferres could go to loose forward if he gets picked to play, would be very harsh on lawrence though, harsh on anyone really but andersons decision so we will see
