If Hull FC can beat St Helens at Langtree Park, so can the Giants. By my calculations of the way points scored today affect points difference, if (when!) Giants win next week, they go third!

Once again the stat we have not beaten any of the top 3 will come into play but hopefully Saints are dipping a bit and we can take advantage. Finishing 2nd or 3rd would be a real bonus and if we are going to do that winning there is a must.

They do not seem a happy camp at present and we need to start like we did at Wigan and not take our foot off the gas. However unlucky we were in the regular season game we never lead and we do not want to be playing catch up on a team who are off from and low on confidence but a 10 point lead or whatever might see them click back into gear.

Fair enough 4th is the target but we can go for higher or at least I hope we can but a win on Thursday is a must if that is to be a likely finishing spot.

Couldn't be a better time to play them. Give them a good kicking while they are down ( so to speak ) Keep Roby, Walmsley and Walsh in check and we have the beating of them.

Same for me i think, we looked a lot better last week and Connor's return at centre benefitted Murphy going back to wing and Wardle to 2nd row.

Agreed in these sort of games we tend to start slowly but at Wigan we did not which is a good sign as we don't want Saints getting some self believe to drag them out of their slump.

There is no price difference this time- - but if you buy from the giants then giants get a cut. -more money in our coffers!!!

To be honest we played dumb at their place and kept switching off after we scored that's no blue print for Thursday as if you never lead you will never win a game.

Fair point and I think be more clinical and ruthless sums it up.
Easier said than done I know but if we are to do anything at the end of the season we need to start getting good habits now and carry them out every week.

If we took half the chances we created this season we'd be top of the league
