Hooray- a Sunday game!!!!

This will be a game anderson has targeted as a win. Wakey started the season brightly -as they usually do, but are struggling with injuries in the forwards at the moment. Our pack is playing well and with robbo and Woody running from dummy half we should be able to exploit them up the middle. Same team as last week for me- taai must play. Sorry Broughton, although the pace against riley would be good- I'm sure murphy will relish the chance to go back to his old club.
We are definitely stronger than wakey on the outside edges-Jerry is playing exceptionally well and after he kept carney well and truly in his pocket last week (wonder if he's managed to climb out yet?

) Richard Owen must know he is in for a tough game.
We have had some real exciting games at wakey- and the fans don't like it up em!

Can't say its my favourite away game but will probably be there if I can afford it
We should have too much for them as usual but they are capable of turning any team over, as are most teams in super league

Wakefield will have the effort and determination to go for the win. They seem to have no pressure so it's going to a close game which could go either way. They are still a very good team.
Player for player, if we play for possession we should win.

Same team as last week for me. Maybe more game time for Wood this week. I'd give him a start and let Robbo torment the wildcats off the bench.
I'd give Crabtree a start too. He plays well against Wakefield and I think he'd contribute better starting.

The high flying Red Devils and the Dragons have tricky away games to Cas and Hull FC.

Big chance to hopefully gain some points on our competition for the top 4.

not that it concerns us as we've always stood on the pavement at the side of the road - well it may as well be with the view you get !.

We SHOULD be too strong for them but they aren't a bad side on their day so we will need to concentrate and not get complacent, we're not out of the woods yet form wise and need to maintain this run.
Of course we have an exceptional record over there but that counts for nothing if we're not up for it....same team for me with maybe Mullers in for JJ, although Josh had a decent game against Cas.

Mullally or Johnson would do for me - mullally has the go forward, Johnson a better defensive record.

I think any threat they have comes from smith, (sounds like hes not been firing on all cylinders recently though).
IF we defend like we did against Cas (notice that's an IF) then the only way I can see them breaking through is by some clever kicking, lucky bounces or Riley beating murphy in a foot race. I repeat that's an IF!!

as always jools, attittude, that's along with poor game management is our biggest downfall, the players are good enough to beat any other team in super league but time and again our attitude has let us down.

we need to stop believing we are good enough to just turn up, and turn up to every game with the attitude that if we don't perform we'll get beaten.

As any team every player is capable of causing us problems, that's why we have to be switched on and concentrate and do the basics well.

Stopping their forwards will ultimate;y stop their backs having the time and space to create.
As Meast said attitude and application will be the key

Agreed attitude has always seemed to be the problem. a decision goes the wrong way and our heads drop and we get instantly frustrated.

The team spirit and attitude against the Tigers was spot on. Congratulating after every error we forced upon the opposition was a delight. Keep that in our game and the team can pick up playing form off of it. Forgetting what anyone else thought about the game, we was defensively outstanding.
We did the basics well.
Everyone will naturally want to keep that going this week.

Yes he's a linesman- and I went to uni with him!

I expect us to get a win on Sunday and continue our run! Performances have been much better but we have still failed to beat anyone outside the bottom 3, the big test has to be Wire away the following week! Get two points on Sunday then heads down for Friday!
