He's already said he isn't going to hkr- on twitter weeks ago when the rumours first appeared. Can't see he'd have the sort of ego to go to anything but a "top" side. If aiton cops his 2 yr ban Leeds may have another shot at him.

A rumour is only as good as the people who talk about it. Before we know it, he has one bad performance and people are accusing him of not wanting to be at the Giants and having no pride.

Pretty sure McIlorum signed a four year deal last year.
It would take a lot for Shaun Wane to want to sell MicMac.
He's Waney's type of player and the coach loves the way he plays.
If Lunt does leave just make sure you have someone signed up to replace him first before he does go.

I dont have an issue with letting a player go who is out of contract at the end of the season and has stated he will not sign another one.
However if the club has any serious ambition of success it should be looking to bring in a quality replacement to the squad. Personally i think we are well covered at hooker and would look at a big aggressive forward.
Not replacing just makes the squad weaker and strength in depth is already an issue.

You'll never get McIlorum from Wigan. Wane has repeatedly stated that he's the best player he's ever coached.
He's just signed a 4 year deal too and seems more than happy to be here.

Looking from the outside getting rid of Lunt appears bizarre, always felt he was a good player!

Good move for us and him. He's stagnated at the Giants and has gone backwards over the last 8 months and wasn't willing to sign a new contract for next season so I'm not surprised he's left. He'll free up a massive wage and it'll open up one or two opportunities in bringing in a new player or two. Anderson and the Giants have done really well over the years in player recruitment so I think Lunt leaving will work out better for us in the long run and could push us on to the next level.
