I seriously hope he posted in some kind of irony. If not, I'd like to make it clear he speaks for himself not the majority or the reasonable minded of Giants fans.

| I think Anderson got some selections wrong tonight, but in no way should he be under any risk. At all.
Painful tonight though. About as bad as it could have been.

| Anderson won the LLS in his first season. Yes, it's the 3rd most important piece of silverware, but it's silverware nonetheless .
We have finished top 4 again.
His signings have largely been sound to date. Huby is a top signing.
The youngsters are being blooded at a steady rate.
Tonight is a major blow, but Anderson to stay.

| I'm sick of watching Silverwood and his cronies turn a blind eye to to players getting up by using an opponents head whilst telling individual players who have only just tackled to get off, whilst letting a mob hold down.
When did this perpetual nannying become the norm it is on SKY games?
Just shut up Silverwood.

| I'm not defending that shambles but if it had been a knock out game don't you think Brough would of played despite injury and our arguably best defender in Bailey too.
I also think Grix is class and is needed for any hopes of a final appearance. He blew his cobwebs off today.
I'll pass judgment next week when it's knockout. We'll see a different outfit next week at home and not away to the champions.
We are better off without a week off.

Like the poster calling for the tackle bags, the bags would walk it.

| well to state the obvious wasnt that a massive pile of s**t
dont understand 2 passes to then bring the prop on to the ball when he was already smothered. lack of motivation , energy , willingness , attitude . Anderson picked the wrong time to get in his team selection wrong
Bailey needs to be involved in some part , great defensively and does offer good link up in attack.
Hopefully brough back next week so there's someone to move us around the park.
A drubbing like that has been coming all season all regular fans can see that.
Get the tackle bags out this week and we go again!!!
next week id go with
murphy
jerry cudjoe wardle broughton
brough robbo
mullaly lunt crabtree
ferres ta'ai
lawerence
bailey - can cover 6/7/9/13
koppy
faiumu
patrick - spell with ta'ai
if no brough then put connor in.

| I wasn't calling for PA's head I said he got it wrong albeit not for the first time this season.
However the big turning point was 2-0 down no pressure on the kicker and Grix's weak attempt to stop the 40-20.
We were clinging on for grim death and he monsied across and at the last minute realised he'd got it wrong.
Murphy would have got that based on his positional sense the week before can't say we still wouldn't have been mullered but you could see the heads go down !!
The guy who's says he's class well he weren't tonight along with most of the others to be fair !!

| Grix had a poor game ,as did the other 16 and i think tonight proved that he will ALWAYS be a scapegoat, how come 12 men in front of him are allowed to let a player run but it's Grix's fault that the try is scored for not stopping him ?? could most of you who were abusing him tonight have stopped any of those he didn't ?? if our forwards aren't stopping them how is a full back supposed to when they're running at full pace at him?...abusing players doesn't make them play better so why not encourage them instead of barracking ?.
Our forwards were absolutely Sh!t scared of Wigan tonight, even the likes of Larne and Ukuma were non existant, god knows what happened but something did between last week and this , where was the aggression, fire, passion ..or even the slightest amount of effort?
I'm sorry but that was totally unacceptable and the club should issue and apology to the fans who went rather than saying how we 'know what went wrong' and 'we can't wait to put it right' etc...that was bloody rubbish Fartown !!

| No I couldn't have stopped any of the ones Grix didn't Daz. Bit then again I don't get paid to like he does.
He was shocking along with the rest of them. However I blame the coach. He messed up. Should have kept the same back line as last week. Grix is my 3rd choice full back.
For some reason tho if he's for he plays. Doesn't matter what Murph or Connor do.

| But so do the others who fail to stop the man before he gets near Grix !! thats my point about people blaming him when in reality there is very little he can do once the others have failed in their job

I called him class. He is. May not be a world beater but he's class. Any full back would have been ripped apart tonight as the last line of defence. Boo hoo, he took a risk letting the ball bounce once more for the 40/20 for an easier catch. It all happens fast. That wasn't what lost us that game.
Why not slate your favourite full back Murphy for his mistakes tonight and the rest of them for not working as a unit, running out of the line whenever they felt like it, giving penalties away and falling off of tackles.
Tonight was a shocking TEAM performance. Get a grip.

I just think we have better fullbacks than him. Simple as that.

| You guys had no intention of trying to win tonight and if you avoid Wigan in the knockout semi then the final could still beckon but i'm afraid you are probably not up to winning that .Wigan are odds on in my mind and i think you got the worst of the finishing positions to play them and Baloo leaving out Brough was happy to give this one away and your players looked like at times they were just trying to avoid injury

| there is no way that grix should be blamed last night, yes i thought he was poor, so were 16 others!
you can't blame a full back for a team conceding 10 tries, most of them without a hand being laid on them, yes he could have done better with some of the 1 on 1's, but he shouldn't be getting exposed like that, if we put effort in to tackling the opposition then breaks don't happen, and our full back isn't left exposed like that.
grix took some unmerited stick last night but to blame him is just plain ridiculous. they were all bad!

think they were also trying to avoid bending their backs, tackling, stopping offloads, etc etc.

I don't think we currently do as an all rounded. Maybe if we played one of Murphy or Connor for an entire season one could learn to more effective than Grix.
Consistently in my opinion
Murphy is best under the high ball.
Grix comes into the line better.
Grix organises the defence better.
Connor returns the ball better.
Murphy defends better.
Connor has better pace.
All depends in what you want from a fullback.
If our forwards are on top and we are able to play good rugby. I'd always play Grix. In last nights game he wasn't himself. He looked lost... Wigan were outstanding and a fullback being the last line of defence was always going to be an impossible task.
I honestly think we'll see a different side next week if Brough and Bailey return. Old Trafford is still out focus.
