| Games to be continued to be played on sunday afternoons.
around a 1000 fans responded to the survey... shame we couldnt get the thoughts of the other 4000!
average attendance is around the same as last season, abit lower this year which is a shame after topping the table last season...would have thought we would sell more season tickets off the back of it?
think 10 clubs have lower attendances this season though so seems we are all in the same boat

| times are hard for a lot of fans .what is most noticeable this year is a lot less away fans.the new structure and sky may make it harder to sell season tickets next year i think we need to look at walk up prices 21 prebook and 25 on the day is to high £20 max for me

| I thought I was signed up to that. Interesting that we are asking existing season ticket holders when they want games rather than people who dont/can't come.

This is what annoys me.
Looking at the last 3 weeks fixtures it should be obvious to anyone that Leeds/Saints, Warrington/Huddersfield, Leeds/Wigan, Warrington/Saints, Warrington/Wigan and Hudds/Saints would all be top 6 games. Sky could have announced they were televising these at the start of the season. Everyone would then know what was going on. There is literally no need for them to leave it this late in the season to announce these games.

| sky own the game paid for in full. they need to fill air time the clubs and the RFL couldn't sign the new contract any quicker if they tried.us as fans will see games being played at the time and days that will suite sky this and the new structure and with more games could mean a increase in the price of season tickets. i can see sales going down not up

| Back to topic about Sundays. I'm one fan who would like a Change to Fridays. Think it's better atmosphere at night games. Sky will mess us about less. Younger crowd more likely to come on a Friday night. The main reason of course is I have to work alot of Sundays but always have Fridays off. Would a season of testing Friday night games really put fans off? I for one would be an extra person on a constant basis to attend games, how many fans would we lose?

Clearly more than if we switched to Fridays going by the survey! You only have to look around the family stand on a Friday night to see all the usually full ST holder seats that are empty.

I suspect the reason is they didn't expect the bottom end to be already done and dusted.

well i suppose we wont find out now, the 1000 that responded to the survey were no doubt wanting to stick to the sundays! best way to do it would be to give it a try for a season and like you say less messing about by sky if we did switch

Well, from my little group would shrink from eight to two.
I can't go on a Friday as I'm never back from work in time. After a week at school my daughter wouldn't stay awake long enough to make it worthwhile and my wife would have to stay home to put her to bed. Replicate that across my sister, her husband and their little one and you've wiped out two generations of support.
We have enough problems getting the latent support in the town to think of the Giants as somewhere you go rather than something you watch on TV without making it damned near impossible to actually get there.
Still could be worse, a few years ago they had the harebrained idea to move kick off to 5.30 on a Sunday so it would neatly coincide with everybody's Sunday dinner.

| It's such a difficult one as we are, of course, all heavily influenced by how much any change would impact on ourselves. Neither Friday's or Sunday's are a problem for me but purely for personal preference I prefer Friday kick offs.
My concern is the club only appear to have surveyed one group - the existing fans - and what it needed to do was consult with a number of groups. For example, not only those who already go to games but those who used to go and have stopped (someone mentioned ex-season ticket holders would be a great place to start) and those that are fans but have never been regular attendees.
I would have liked to see Fridays tried as I think we need to try something but I'm not sure the club gave itself the best chance of making an educated decision on this.
Having said that, my main concern about Friday games is that it is clear that there is already a generation of fans missing from our games but the crowds on a Sunday show that this may not be a problem with the next generation as there are a lot of kids that attend with their families and this may very well stop if Friday games are preferred. We have to be very careful that in addressing the problems of todays crowds we don't hurt ourselves in the longer term.

| I never understood why people disliked the 5.30 sunday kick offs. It was early enough for kids to attend. It was late enough for shop workers to finish work and get there. It gave people whose other half wasn't interested opportunity to spend whole day with family and still get to the game. There'd even be a night time atmosphere early and late in the season. Always seemed like the best solution to me.

| As an Walk up fan who can't come to Sunday games, Bring it to Fridays please. I want to watch the Giants more! It's also a good that they have had a poll (which not everyone knew about) but as a club they must do what's best in there eyes and having the poll to start with must of made them think twice about keeping the Sunday games

| Don't think it would harm to trial Friday games, say 5-6 home games during the summer or something next year just to see what the response would be.

Agreed. Coupled with a flexible ticket option this could work
