Yep, definitely robbed. Hope Bentham gets called up for that decision.

Went over the post, and that was with a camera replay from centre of the field. Understandable decision imo.

Camera behind showed it going over the post but the camera facing the post seemed to show it slightly wide, would have been hard to fully judge on VR also, ferres cocked that up for you doing something so stupid.

Even the Saints players in the post match interviews said they thought it was a goal.

It was difficult to judge, one angle it looked over but from where Bentham was stood it looked wide.

In any case, it was Brett a Ferres that cost Huddersfield the game. What a complete plonker.

As a Saints fan I have to say we didn't deserve to win that game today. The sending off of Ferres was very harsh. A stupid tackle yes but worthy of a sending off definitely not.
Mystified as to how the Brough drop goal wasn't given or at least Bentham going for the screen. That's the poorest Saints have played all year and it was a lucky win in very dubious circumstances.

Could and should have gone to screen, clearly Bentham deliberately cheated, you where robbed today.

Not a sending off? Are you for real? He deliberately lifted Lomax and then dropped him in a dangerous position onto his head. What more would a player have to do to get sent off? I expect he'll be sitting out a few rounds of SL now too.

I think the Ferres tackle was deserved red. Not a malicious tackle, but considering what's recently happened with the lad from Newcastle, Bentham had no other option. Now the drop goal, Brough's definitely went over. You can't blame Bentham for being unsure considering where he was stood, but why not use the screen? It's there for a reason! We didn't deserve it, and I think Bentham might not have a game to ref next week.

Someone has said Ferres shouldn't be sent off?! He deserves a few weeks for that.

As for the drop goal, I'd have given it so I sympathise massively. I think it drifted to go over the post and that should be given.

Well I've watched about a dozen tv replays of the drop goal and I'm still not certain of whether it went over or not.

Huddersfield had three chances immediately prior to that to seal the deal and Brough screwed up two of them by going early in the count and not standing far enough back. Ultimately - he fluffed it.

One thing I would say though is Bentham was in a great position and Brough had turned away before the ball had finished moving.

Everyone is slagging the ref off for reasons I do not know. Look at his position on the disallowed goal. He was in an excellent position to give a decision. A he had the best view in the whole stadium.

Yes he was in an excellent position and he gave the decision he wanted to give. The one that allowed him to continue his history of costing Huddersfield games with decisions that on review prove to be incorrect but hey never mind everyone makes mistakes. Not Mr Bentham he knows exactly what he's doing, the one eyed cheat.

Wouldn't have expected anything else from bentman. Even the penalty he gave saints in front of the sticks at 16-14 was very very dubious as the saints player appeared to throw the ball away quite easily. But as for not going to the screen, obviously cheat cheat cheat from the crowd was the only correct call in that instant!!!

Bentham should have gone to the VR. will be interesting to see Ask the Ref on Twitter. I thought it was a goal, but my opinion counts for nowt same as everyone else's apart from Bentham's.
