Huddersfield Students Union are selling tickets for Sunday in the Direct Golf stand for £7.50, need to produce a student card to get them though

Tell any students that might be interested because it hasn't been well advertised by the Uni at all!

They have done this for a while- since they were main sponsors-they don't really advertise much.

wonder if the club should be trying to publicize this more, sounds like it!

seems strange that we have such a huge student population here now that we aren't trying to tap into them more !

i agree the uni is getting very big nowadays.. new potential fans

agree that i think we should do more to entice the student population to get the bug, maybe get the student union showing live games etc.
they seem quite happy watching premier league football in pubs, why not offer them some live sport on their doorstep?

Not a lot of Rugby League played in China from what I've been told

all the more reason , a lot of them are probably complete rugby league virgins.

hopefully the club have a good look into the uni promos, would be daft not too try capitalize

I had these tickets all last year and still managed to sit in my season ticket seat from the previous season win/win for me.

HGSA are in talks with the SU at the moment.

Good stuff Ivor- you'd think there would be enough in sports science /medical that would be interested if nowt else! don't forget the part time students either- they often have a bit more money!

Are these tickets only available to Hudds Uni students? or students from other educational est such as Kirklees college??

Someone else asked me about the college today- could be worth looking into.

I agree - if we can sell tickets to anyone we can its better than none at all surely ?

today once again proved what a massive job we have got on our hands to get people interested in the giants.

yes the weather was crap but the club have done a lot to promote this game,the first game back at home since lifting the LLS and just over 6,500 giants fans turn out!

dont know what kind of crowd you was expecting, thought 7k was just about right, obviously we would want more.

hope the Giants get the customer service right when people are collecting their tickets, big long queues will put people off, needs to be managed well

i didnt think we would get much over 7k, but we really should be attracting bigger crowds than we are, but i guess if the interest isnt there it isnt there.

There is a drive for a decent attendance for the Rhino's game as it's a bring a buddy game.

the football derby day before may of put a few off as they choose which to go too

should be a good crowd v leeds usually is but being a friday night and on sky that will knock a good 3k off

its also a friday night on sky! expect less than 7,000 then!
