| Some nice complements from John Kear and appraising the 2013 Giants.
Then the numpty host starts banging on about not winning big games, crowds, etc again
Good to see that someone can see the hard work PA and team are putting in.

| Think it has been good for a few youngsters to get game time but only when it suits Batley....much bettet than Wires takeover of Swinton which makes Duel Registration a farce.

| As a Batley fan, I feel that its worked well - especially in not flooding our squad with seasoned first teamers. Ironically, the one Giants player from whom I expected the most - namely Jacob Fairbank, was the biggest let-down. Josh Johnson has been good for us - especially as a teenager thrust into first team action at a decent level, and he'll benefit from his time with us in the future. From what I understand, John Kear intends to take two-three designated players on a season-long exchange next season - as opposed to intermittent appearances based on whether they're needed in the Giants first team.

| Much prefer the loan rather than dual reg system...give the player and clubs a bit of stability and let them fit in and gel with the rest of the squad.

| I think its gone ok, to be honest we are doing it the way it should be done and not using them as a reserve team.

| John Kear been very complimentary every time I've seen him this season, and on the face of it he has a good relationship with Paul Anderson. Given the progress of the U19's that needs to be continued and to get some in at Batley for a seasons experience, and hopefully to Batleys benefit, can only be good.
I have wondered if there was any mileage in looking at some sort of joint season ticket offer between Batley and the Giants. I know there will be complications but anything's worth a look at!

| As far as i am aware our season ticket holders can watch Batley games for £5, not sure if it works the other way too.

| I have taken advantage of the cheap price at Batley by showing my season ticket at the turnstile.
Not heard anything about us doing the same for Batley supporters, but we should.

| Been to Batley a few times this season, the other week against Workington, there were flyers offering tickets to Salford and Wakey for a tenner, any stand.

and Dewsbury? maybe Halifax and Bradford?
it worked for the bulls so why not?
also maybe encourage players and fans of amateur clubs to come by offering them cheap tickets on production of registration etc?
