Defo think that Paul Anderson should be awarded it this year. Giants were written of by many and people have been waiting for the dip but Paul has kept is going. Especially first year as full time coach.

Obvious usual contenders but maybe Peter Gentle if they win cup could sway people's votes

PA is front runner as things stand. If we win LLS its a cert. Gentle could win it if we fail to win LLS and hull get CC. But the way things go in RL can see Powell getting it.

dont agree with gentle being coach of the year, they have been poor all season and i remember people tipping them to go very well and win the grand final (might do yet but cant see it) but it hasnt happened with all the money they spent ellis, holdsworth etc

surely cant just win it for winning the cup.

I wouldn't agree with it but if he gets hull their first win at wembley I can see him getting it.

Doesn't matter if we win coach of the year, man of steel and all the other end of season awards, unless we win a pot we have won nothing.

IF, and it's a big IF, we win the league leaders shield then we will still have trolls coming on here saying it means nothing without a Grand Final pot. And even then we'll be slated for crap numbers.

As a Hull fan I think even if we do win the cup Anderson should be Coach of the year. Done a brilliant job for you this year, easy to forget it's his 1st year as head coach.

I remember some of our own fans proclaiming it was a bad move and a backward step and we wouldn't get in the 8 with a no-hope in charge ...oh how i laugh now
