heard this a while back, not a bad option, provides cover for brough and robinson which is badly needed.

and will come cheap!

PA must be confident that he can get something out of Wood that nobody else has been able to.

Can't really say I remember seeing him play a lot. Surely the thing we have all seen is the need to have a bloke who brings a kicking game to cover brough when needed and keep defences guessing who is going to be the one to charge down and control.
Woods kicking games doesn't need to be as solid as broughs just good enough to take some of the pressure off

I saw Wood play v Wigan for Wakey, he did some good stuff but needs kicking practice. But if he is signed for his distribution rather than kicking that's ok

Can't imagine murphy playing full back. Modern day full back have to be like half backs with a running game. Murphy isnt that type of player. Going to be interesting to see what happens.

he has never had a good run of games at full back though yet.
