Had a look on a few other team forums. A lot being said about the weekly rounds don't matter and intensity being poor.
How do we feel? I love the game and my team. I would watch any team as I enjoy it! Some games (london) where I am not as enthusiastic as say the up coming Leeds game but still always looking forward to fame day!
How would the players feel? Anyone who plays competitive sports do no want to lose or play to sub standards just because of the opposition surely? And would we want players who had that mentality? Also with competition for places like we have a couple of bad games and your replaced surely they would not play sub standards.
The coach may see some games more vital than others say the Leeds game may be seen as more important than the wolves game as the leeds game is s knockout. But Anderson would he expect or accept the players playing to a lower level?
Bit of a long rant. Just I see every game as important maybe its because the fans talking about this are ones who have been watching dominate sides if late (leeds, wire, Wigan) but I remember the days of loss after loss! How every game we were the underdogs so every game was vital and think all fans need to look back to when the team they followed weren't the successful team they are at the moment.

I want to see us win every game and playing to the best of ability every week. The rugby is my only social event of the week and its something i have done week in week out more or less for 25 years so i want it to be enjoyable rather than just treating each game as a friendly etc......this is the problem with the set up of the system these days though that means if you wanted you cxould pick and choose which games to compete in.
Whether its Leeds or London makes no odds to me i want us to smash every team off the park if we can !!.

We did this is 2011 & were the best team by a big country mile. But we won nothing that counted when you read the history books.



Mine too, 2nd only to my family, watching the Wire & RL is the highlight of my week.

We've won nothing (minor trophies only) in my time watching so its not about winning things as such, it would be nice though, but i go to watch entertaining games........did you enjoy watching the games still ? thatsd the most important thing about the Rugby - being entertained!

thats the way the system has been set up, grand final more important than the league leaders shield?

I agree, teams have seen the Leeds method of finishing strongly and are copying so we get less intense games. If this is going to happen then SL need to change the play-off format to advantage the top teams even more.

I care i want to us to win every game, thats what sport should be about, it is the problem with RL at the moment, i also think baloo and shaun wane think the same pity more coaches dont, but as fartowneurochamps says the play off system needs to change to sort out this apathy.
Still think people read too much into the rhinos two triumphs, they are a special bunch of players at the rhinos and im convinced no other side could repeat what they have done in the last 2 seasons.

My opinion for what it's worth is that the league champions are the ones who finish the season with the highest number of points. Not the ones who win a knockout competition played between eight teams designed to prolong the season. The grand final to me is a meaningless competition.
Having said that the challenge cup is the one I'd love to see the Giants win. (Preferably the grand final also)
