Not a bad thing as he seems to be behind Cording in the pecking order. Gives him a chance to show what he can do in SL this season. A good player on his day but needs to be more consistent.

fair enough, seems to be fighting with cording and fairbank for a super league spot but was 18th man for saints game, with taai now arriving puts him further down the pecking order..

sure if injuries hit he can come back, and get some minutes under his belt because if he can get back to form is a decent player! just seemed to go wrong when tinkerman played him at prop last season

Interesting. I also heard a whisper today that Darryl Griffin may be going to KR in loan. Rumour of some discontent at not being selected.

ive heard a rumour that fergie maybe staying full time at kr and keal carlile making a suprise return to us

Always quite liked Carlile when he was with us, but was behind some very good hookers at the time. Now with Robbo at 7 and Faiumu at 13, could be good little deal if true to give him 20 mins ish and keep Lunt fresh.

If true then I'd be happy to have Carlile back, was good in 2010 against Warrington, scoring our first try of the season. Not 100% sure that I'd be happy for Ferguson to leave as he impressed me in the "friendly" against Widnes, but we do have a lot of depth in the back-row.

Has Carlisle played much at HKR. If not why not. If not god enough forn HKR does he add anything to what we have.

Would rather let Fergy go and use his money and that of LOD to make a silly offer and get a big named player or half back in.

Robbo and Lunt at hooker would be a killer combo.

Carlisle started for hull kr yesterday and I believe has been in the 17 for all their games so far.

Agreed this would be a great combo, best in the league perhaps, problem would be that both would want to play 60min plus, without shifting halfs or putting lunt to loose and tinkering we might struggle to keep everyone happy!

Wouldn't want to let Fergie go if i'm honest, think he has great potential as we saw in his 1st few weeks here until Nathan coached the confidence out of him.

Glad he's getting game time and that can only help us in the future as he has plenty to offer.

As for Keal, we never got to see his talent cos of his illness but i'd more than welcome him coming back and having a 2nd shot.

Yes fooeys deal ends at the end of this season.

The absolute ideal would be to do a swap for Dobson and robbo to go back to hooker.

From what I've been told, Robbo would only last perhaps another season or so at hooker with the battering he gets, whereas in the halves he's a good few years left.

he's been on the bench for the first 3 games due to our injuries keal but realistically is still 3rd choice hooker at the moment behind Josh Hodgson and lincoln withers. Most of us would like to keep Keal as Withers contract is up at the end of the season and he has looked promising for the future without pulling up any trees with us so far. IF we were to swap him for ferguson it'd be a shame for the future for us but wouldn't hurt us right now and ferguson has started off like a house on fire so far.
