Taylor has already signed for Wigan according to all the Wigan forum

The Giants are not perceived as a big club by players they may be targetting so are losing out every time a top quality player comes onto the market.

So unless thay are prepared to splash some cash this will not change. Recruitment last season was distinctly average and appears to be following a similar pattern again this off season.

I hope i am wrong but all i can see is a long hard season ahead next year.
I really feel the club needs to have a long hard look at its strategy and where it is heading in the short term because it is currently in freefall and appears to be lacking direction.

Whoever made the decision to concentrate recruitment on Bradford players when the whole situation at the Bulls was totally unclear should be held accountable.

The club will have known for months which players were leaving at the end of the season so why have suitable replacements not been found.

All they have in place extra to this year when it was clear they were not good enough is a young totally unrpoven prop and an oversees forward who is had struglled to make any impact in the NRL.

Without a quality stand off and at least one (or even better two) more quality props the side is going nowhere.
If Lunt goes to Leeds full time as i suspect there is zero cover for injury in either the halves or hooking positions.

I will still be there supporting then and have purchased a season ticket but my optimism is diminishing by the day.

Who cares. If he plays for us he plays for us, if he doesn't he doesn't. It won't make one iota of difference either way. Why don't we wait for an announcement on what players are signing for us before prophesying doom and gloom. The corpse of this season is barely cold and people are already burying the next one FFS.

dont think we had much room in the salary cap last year though, long term deals to mcgillvary , lawrence etc

Twice the Bulls fans have maligned us in the last few weeks & twice they've been totally wrong. No apologies will be forthcoming. The only time that lot put on a pretence of decency is when they come round begging for money.

I hope to be proved wrong. But for now i am not optimistic. The comments we are getting from the club suggest they do not have any players lined up.
If season tickets sales are so low you would have thought that if there were signings lined up they would be announced in order to try and boost the sales.

hull fc released a few but no one of interest for us i dont feel, i always liked aspinwall but we are strong in his position.

With nobody else available and if his wage demands are realistic i would give Fielden a year.
