Rumours Saints and a few other SL clubs keeping track of young British prop playing with Batley.
21 years old, 6'5" tall and 16 stone 8 pounds, hope he is not another Chris Hill who we missed, did post about Hill well before Wire signed him.
Not sure how we can miss this kid if anygood though as plays for a club only a few miles down the road!!!

He should have been known to those at the club as was getting rave reviews for Leeds Met (also playing Conference rugby for Dewsbury Celtic) long before Batley snapped him up and I guess it was always a question of if he could step up to the pro game and from what I have seen of him on Premier Sports he has done with a vengance.

Heard about this lad when he'd just signed on for Batley due to his mate's mother being one of my nurses....they raved about him !!
Maybe worth getting in and bringing him through ala Larne.

We have already lost tonks and Orwell- sounds like walker could well be going also going by his twitter comments so another young prop is a reasonable possibility.

Was supposed to have signed at Cas mid season, But due to our failings in the CC, We couldn't afford him (One reason players have been leaving early). It now appears Saints have stole him from under our noses. Not a hard choice really, Cas or Saints.

he's gonna trim him down and learn his trade from Paul Wellons to take over at full back
Saints fans are already looking forward to a trimmed down Manu taking over on the wing!

Too true Brearley an would be nice to start bringing our own youngsters right thru into 1st team.
Have some great lads current playing in the younger squads and hope to see majority of them make the grade into the Giants 1st team squad in the future.

He is not as good as the lads the Giants signed. Glad TK has signed for a quality club. Travelling to warrington (twice a week?) on the train is very demanding. |
