Thought he was one of our top performers again today, he shows more heart than most and doesn't deserve to be on the losing side every week,never gives up,never stops trying,encouraging others,something our captain seems incapable of doing, came right over to the fans at the end too and looked truly gutted unlike some who couldn't wait to get off the pitch.
If only half of our team showed the heart and desire broughy does we might not be in this mess, as we sang again today a team of danny broughs would be great.

I agree Danny always shows his commitment to the cause and never gives up. He is my vote for next years captain. The other players I thought showed anything 'special' were Eorl and David Faalogo (did he get injured in second half?)

Was in the main stand singing Dannys praises before the match to the chap next to me, saying he's was our best player this season. He then introduced himself, as his dad, turns out I was sat next to his parents!!

Lovely people, and of course I had to ask about Dannys future, he said didn't really know of anything or at worst wasn't letting on. But his dad is a St Helens fan I found out. Contracts in rl are bought out all the time, fortunately for fees but still, we must make sure he stays.

He's a real competitor and hates losing is Brough, next years captain without a doubt for me, should have been this year really. A captain should either lead with passion or example, Brough does both, Brown does only one and neither on occasions.

I saw Paul Anderson in Ferrybridge sevices talking to Danny Houghton and a player I did not recognise.

I also saw kevin brown in toys r us buying a harry Potter invisibility cloak, he wore it yesterday when defending for the Giants.

CG, I am surprised you missed Danny Tickle he was getting in Bacon & Egg McMuffins for himself & Houghton and big Breakfasts for Baloo and Andy Lynch (whom I didn't recognise either but they kept calling him Lynchy).

Surprisingly Danny Tickle had tomato sauce on his McMuffin rather than HP. There is no accounting for taste!

Doubt it --he fell out with Sinfield over a post match pork pie at Headingley so I`m told

as good as Danny Brough is, and i hope we keep him, i am constantly disapointed with the meters he make from penalty kicks to touch, ofton 10 rarely 20 or more

I'd like an official announcement from the club that Brough will be a Giants player next season. Lots of rumours flying around that he's off to Hull and Saints and I'd like to see them officially quoshed.
