Had a text and email from the club which everyone will have got and which should shame us all. We have obviously sold only 3000 tickets for the semi. I have got to admit I wavered I am sick at the way the season has disintegrated and the way coach and captain have played their hand but I have bought and am taking my kids because I'm claret and gold and will be when the browns have gone we need to sell another 1000 quick folks to save face even if you don't think we will win which I doubt otherwise will ken say enough is enough he alone deserves 4000 giants there

not at all surprised by the lack of numbers, our "fans" are notoriously fickle, had we been in the middle of a good run of form then we would have easily sold 4000,as it is a lot of people simply wont pay to watch "their" team in a semi final because we aren't very good at the moment.
saying that ,i,along with many others are looking forward to seeing 'uddersfield' in another semi final,and are fully intending to enjoy the day.
i've no doubts that if we win the semi final then the people who wouldn't waste money on a semi final will be the first in the queue for a chance of wembley glory

Got mine and the kids tickets and really looking forward to it.

If we get to the final the ones who went to the semi final and quarter final etc should be rewarded with chance of the better tickets 1st.

In unlikely event we get to the final will guarantee there would be thousands claiming to be Giants fans!!

i dont care really how many do or dont go to the semi final i will enjoy the day as you never know when it might be the last!

Which in turn could be levelled at any team in any given support, if you move down a division or are in a run of poor form then people dont go, its human nature.

Or you could say our away support is crap yet we're taking 3k + to an away game



In turn people turn out for finals as witnessed by Town in their play off final, who cares if they go every week, it looked ok on the tele there being a good number of them there, on this board we'd be happy if our 5k hardcore were the only ones to go to wembley then we'd moan we hadnt taken 20k

Whichever way you look at it, taking less than 4000 to a cup semi final within easy travelling distance is p*ss poor and i hope we manage to shift a few more tickets before next week. If people can't be bothered going to support the lads in a semi then i despair, and would imagine uncle ken is wondering why he bothers.

Don't worry they'll all be coming out the woodwork if you beat us.

Truth is our support is pants, and yes Horatio Yed if we win there will be alot of bandwagoners at Wembley and that's a fact!

Scheduling is an issue for some fans. 5.30 on Sunday, living in London has made it impossible for me. So please take this into account too. I do have a season ticket & get to as many games as I can.

I am working and I have had my annual leave request rejected. Nothing I can do about it. It must be easy been a Monday - Friday 9 til 5 worker. I use the majority of my leave on watching Fartown.

Too many people on here too quick to judge others. People need to take into account the current financial climate aswell. Some People struggle to pay for their season tickets (and that of their families) the semi final is not a cheap day for a family of four.

Admittedly some will not be attending because of the current slump in form. Even though I would not miss the game for this reason I can't say I blame people who will.

This isn't a league game so league form doesn't come into it..i think its a shame that fans wont go to a SEMI-FINAL with a trip to Wembley at stake because we've been playing poorly in the league.
This is exactly the type of game we need right now - massive underdogs, no pressure, a day out with no expectations - sounds a bit like 2006 and 2009 to me !!.

Lets get over ther and have a good day out and forget about league form for a few hours !

Wire might think Salford's ground and them do not get on after last week so perhaps form will be a factor, hopefully a brusing encounter with the French will see them go into the game on a downer, think Wigan are there for the taking on Saturday so both Yorks clubs to spring surprises will see us v Leeds in the Final
