I am not sure if people picked up on this but next year the no of interchanges goes down from 12 to 10. This may explain some of the plans and recruitment policies for next season.
Big props like paaleasina etc will become redundant as players will have to play longer minutes. Therefore more mobile props and pacier backs will become important . This may explain why we have recruited the likes of eden, george and possibly Murphy and also moving fa alogo to prop.

The opposition will be in the same boat, their forwards etc. will play longer too.
Possibly lead to more scores at the end of each half as fatigue sets in, especially if you lose a player or 3 during the game.

Agree with birkygiant.
The last 20 minutes of each game is when the points will be decided.
Going to need some fit and versatile players especially on the bench when injuries happen during the game.
On the downside it has reduced the number of times I can share my views on the opponents performances and shifts as they walk back to the bench now.

I really don't see itll make that much difference. Four props playing twenty mins a half is only six changes- only Four if the same two come on after having a 15 min break at half time. They probably already play 15 mins each I don't think an extra five will make a difference for most props

I can't see it will bother the likes of eorl or Mason or most other props in sl. Feka possibly but that's only one interchange with the extras to be shared round the rest of the squad. Jeez if the ginger whinger can manage 80 mins I'm sure our lads can manage an extra 5 without fatigue!
