I wondered whether he was making a rugby savvy, well reasoned point. Is Kear the real reason why we are joint top of the table?

Looking at our 17 versus Hull I wondered just how much input Kear had with;Jerry, Bruno, Cudjoe, Hodgson, Brown, Mason, Robbo, Gilly, Faiumu, Raleigh, Patrick, Lunt and Fa'alogo? Could we attribute Grix becoming a top SL fullback to JK? Or could the sizable improvements in Griffin and Brough be attributable to JK, did he produce these players? [maybe vastman is caiming kirmond as a JK produced player?



Vasty's assertion seems a foolish and ill informed statement. Perhaps our non playing squad members held the key. However I could not see how Kear could realy claim to have produced is 'responsible' for the Giants team.

This is as sad a case of reflected glory as I have ever seen.

Well, all those points we've taken off Kearney coached sides in the past have helped us a lot...

Ssssh no one is supposed to know about Kearney's input at Hull

Steve Newton at Newsome has had more impact on our current 17 than Kear

It could be argued that such players have realised their potential since leaving Kear's sphere of influence.

they were all great players in the past, but nathan seems to have brought out that extra dimension to make them that little bit better

hahaha the reason these players left that shower was to improve their career as obviously they all couldn't wait to get out of Wakey and into a proper club with quality coaches !

No and yes, because when the giants saw sense and got shut of kear as our coach replacing him with tony smith was the start of our rebirth as a top club, cheers jk
