Read in the Star Danny McGuire was shouting for Warrington in last years Cup Final and where I was sat at Wembley there were loads of Weeds fans cheering the Wire on.

I had Dulls fans shouting for wire near me last year. However i would like Leeds to win. Yorkshire an all that.

I like Wire but a Leeds win would probably mean all the team would be celebrating all week. Then when they play Hull F.C. at Hull next week and Hull win, well, if we beat the Dragons we'll finish the league above Leeds, I think. And ATEOTD the Giants are all we really care about. whilst we "didnt turn up" totally and mental attitude after going behind wasnt right I still think the game last year could have been different had the officials got some decisions "correct"!
Then if we`d won --I`d have gone for Wires this time (but they had their turn in then)!
So whilst it pains me to say it --a Yorks team --------and bottom line I hope what could be a cracking advert for RL isnt ruined by crap reffing and the best team on the day come through on merit !!!

bad day for rugby league as a whole so i understand it, my mate went to watch the game as a neutral (bulls fan) and he said he enjoyed the game etc but after the match outside wembley stadium both the leeds and warrington fans were fighting in lumps.

why must the idiots ruin our game, not that i care as i wasnt there but its the neutral supporters i feel sorry for who go out for a good day/weekend and its ruined by idiots fighting in the streets!!!

shame the mighty leeds rhinos didn't get nilled at wembley,that would have been something for all proud yorkshiremen to behold

I watched the game with 3 part time Rhino fans......laughing my rocks off!!!!! One of them even asked if Cummins still plays for Leeds

There was a tiny bit of trouble (about 20 to 30 idiots). Leeds fans sat in the Warrington end being nobs. Then because we have our own fair share of idiots they managed to get at each other. Shame.

So why did they shut Wembley Park tube station after the game causing everyone to stand on Wembley Way?

I imagine it carried on outside.

My mate says they were at it hammer and tongs outside the stadium and in the pub after !

To be fair the police do this for every event at Wembley be it football, rugby and concerts (i Live in London and been to many events). The police hold people back in groups of circa 200/300 people - the number of people to get on each tube. They cant have over spill in the tube station (ala hillsborough). Would result in people being pushed onto platforms etc.

Not saying there wasnt trouble - i saw (from a far) the fracas with the Leeds fans being in the wire end but that was the only trouble i saw personally. However back to main point the tube station wasnt 'SHUT' due to fighting. Its incorrect comments like this that blow things out of proportion. Next minute someone will be in the pub saying ''oooh did you hear they shut the tube stations due to riots between Leeds/Warrington fans'' which isnt true.

So there was no trouble at the tube station? the bobby that told me there was must have been wrong then.

Didn't close the tube when we were there last season so think it will have been to do more with stopping any further uneeded idiotic violence, go watch the puffs kick a round ball if you into all that, leave RL alone for the true fans
