Whilst we have the strength in depth to still be competitive we need some players back and cannot afford any more injuries.

Your pack appears to have two hookers and only one prop.

That said did you see Griff packing down as Hooker at one point?

I heard Kirmond will be used as a front rower this season.

Not good.

Its rotten mate.Nothing worse than injuries to players.Hope they recover soon.

Not good to have injuries at any time but on a positive note it's better to have them at this stage of the season rather than the end. With our disrupted pre-season you'd expect people to be picking up niggling injuries at this point. At least none of them appear to be Kirmond/Aspinwall type injuries (touch wood).

Not good mate, I would have liked to have seen Hodgson last night who I have great respect for. I also think Lunt could be knocking on the International door, great prospect

Oggy said his leg but still, reason to believe we have some better news coming re. Lunt when we get a clearer picture!

Hopefully he's got his limbs mixed up, and Lunt's arm isn't as bad as first feared.

Much better news, hopefully it will allow him to keep pushing his form into the international contention...and in the meantime, maybe give Carlile a shot.

Whilst it is a shame about Brett, there is a positive as it actually gives Leroy game time at full back. So in the long term could prove a blessing in disguise.

if lunt is missing for a few weeks i think it would be wise to put faiumu in his place, much better than when he plays at loose forward in my opinion. carlile not ready yet, grix could do the job too

Grix at 7, Robbo starting as Hooker with Faiumu as interchange hooker.

I could go with that but would have Robbo at interchange hooker coming on when the forwards are tired. faiumu is better defensively and would help take the sting out of the HKR forwards early on.

Robbo does his defence work. He is used to starting and therefore is used to the intensity. Bring on the sidestep king when we everyone is 'tired'. Although when was the last time you saw a tired player on the pitch?
