| I think we need a prop, half back and winger! Any thought? By the way travelled 400 miles for Friday's game, anyone further? How did the reserves go?

| Don't think we need any more props. But half-backs are essential and probably wingers. Whatever has happened to Hodgson D & Aspers?
Surely there's nothing to be lost by giving Hemingway a match or two [Ponner keep quiet!.
If we didn't have Leroy I'd add a FB to that list!

| Wingers are a concern, but the problem was we had 3 standoffs on the pitch on Friday, last thing we need is another one
FWIW I thought once he got into it Fulton looked pretty useful at standoff.
Wings are a concern, but lets not "do a thorman" on them just yet eh.

| Wonder how many tries a fit Paul White might have got with the same amount of ball as Hodgson

It was a cracking game - Greg(?)Johnson has an amazing turn of pace and never took a backwards step, Cas had no answer to him. They played like a team who had actually been introduced to each other (unlike the first team on friday night)and the committment and enthusiasm were exceptional. I get far more enjoyment from watching these boys play than I do the 'elite' at the moment!

or Jermaine Mcgilvary
White would have bagged a few this season i reckon with his pace, he would have loved the amount of chances Hodgson gets

| I suppose it depends on whether you regard Tom Hemingway,Keal Carlile and Josh Griffin as actual '1st teamers' - certainly none of those that didn't get a chance on Friday evening played for the reserves.

| No first teamers as such. Report says Hemingway and Rob Lunt ran the show. Only senior player on the pitch was Chris Feather for Cas.

| i've been very impressed with the reserves lately, especially the wingers, brown amd johnson, it might be worth giving one of them a go on the wing?
i agree about half backs though, only hemingway and robinson are the only recognised half backs in the squad

| White got his chance, and proved not up to the job, not just with us.
I think the players are being brought on at the right rate at the moment and in the right way.

Brown used to play for Huddersfield Sharks u18s a few years ago (in the same team as Leroy). Then I think he had a stint at Keighley Cougars.

| Greg Johnson was at YM the moved down to Lockwood Park where he did a season with Little Ivor. He has pace, power, self-belief, and a touch of can't-be-bothered.

Now if we can get someone to knock that out of him seems as though he has potential

looks ok from what i've seen of him - we seem to have a habit of getting lower league players and turning them into Super League players
