Giants can't hack knock out rugby?

People quote Leeds's run over the years, so I'll go back to 2006 when we only lost one knock out game - in the final.

2009 - again, knock out rugby - lost in the final.

2013 we even won the longest SL knock out game [poetic licence! - the League Leaders Shield.

well the season has come to an end... wire scored 3 tries off the back of 3 daft penalties in the first half, we just didnt learn and it cost us. Then we failed to deal with the kicks which led to tries



but i dont want to dwell on it too much, the effort from the lads was top drawer, was really proud of the team lastnight.... we just fell short, this has been an amazing season and will live long in the memory.

lets hope this season is a stepping stone for greater things, i think it will be.

Oh and our fans were great lastnight

Why should you dwell on it? You won the LLS, got to within one game of the Grand Final. You have had a top drawer season, especially with a first year coach at the helm too. Future is looking bright.



You will be there or thereabouts next season, no question.



Your fans were a credit to you, well mannered, no trouble, just a shame our asshat stewards never allowed you to interact with the players at full time.

The fans that post on here could learn a lot from them (and obviously there will be people who post on here that go the game, so the question is why act fantastically at a game, yet act like arrogant t*****s on here?)

For the 1st time in ages we gave Wire a game, ironically we had them too but we lost that game ourselves with individual errors and silly penalties. We were so close last night and if a few calls had gone in our way it could have been a different story

we also feel that we conceded our points with silly errors. Chris Riley made 3 big errors at important times that ended up costing us 3 tries... Had you won that game, it would have been a case of us throwing it away, as our forwards had the upper hand for most of the game and layed a platform for us to score more tries than we did.

Your forwards had the upper hand when the benches came on. Otherwise it was level.

losing ferres lastnight in the first half didnt help either

We'll have issues in the forwards next year, losing big players in Morley, Carvell, Cooper, McCarthy and currently only signed Asotasi.
