| I'd guess he'll be resting a prop and Raleigh will play. My guess would be Griffin.

| Quote ="Ceejames"A huge increase in crowds.
Too often 'traditional rugby ground' means ramshackled terraces, poor seating with restricted leg room, 2nd rate facilities and far too many fans standing on the rain. it shows a really cr*p attitude towards the supporters.'"
Yet for me, the best atmospheres I experience away are usually Cas and Wakey, while the sterile grounds are the likes of the Galpharm, give me the old grounds every week, you can keep your legroom (I prefer to stand anyway). The best new ground by a mile is Warringtons.
The Galpharm is also rubbish for concerts, having seen REM and The Eagles there the sound was bloody awful.

REM and the Eagles always sound bloody awful to me
i will keep my legroom thanks.
It is true the Galpharm does not cater for those who prefer to stand in the rain on cr*p terraces in grounds with dreadful facilities. Nor will they cater for those people who want restricted views due to old fashioned stadium designs.
For those fans wanting to tether their wippets outside the ground and put on a hairshirt before watching the game time is running out.

| I like the Galpharm overall - big away stand / drinking friendly thanks to close links to train/city centre .... One 'gripe' (if you want to call it one) is that the away stand concourse is actually outside. I always find that odd compared to other new builds.
However thinking about it, I've never seen Rovers or City win there - (often heavy defeats) I hate it really.

| 2 tries given by Le'Twerp , 1st one incorrect ptb and then he tackled the marker Ferguson off the ball so he couldn't make the tackle, 2nd one dummy runner took Brown out!!!!
Didn't matter in the end but could have done

| Best team won, no question about it.
Should Hall have been awarded a penalty try when Odonnell tackled him high when it clearly looked he would have scored barring his head been attacked?
Just wondering your guys thoughts, to me it had to be considered.

Don't think video ref can give an incorrect play the ball, which it was.

No try.
His head was not "attacked". This isn't Eastenders. Please. You lost, you didn't deserve to win. This is obvious to everyone. Focus on next week.

You miss my first line of my post?
Did he stop Hall in the act of scoring a try by the use of foul play? if so, surley it should have been looked at.
Simialr incident just happened in Sea Eagles v Knights game.

| Never a penalty try. Stop clutching at straws, it's embarrassing
Alibert couldn't give anything on the fisher try. Ganson thought it was a knockon not an incorrect PTB and Alibert can't rule on it as VR.
Thought Ganson had a great game, the way he strutted down to the match commissioner was delightful. Then backed it up with the best line in the game "try not to play in that corner"

| after the game the rovers fans were strangely blaming ganson for them conceding another hammering at the the hands of the giants,i didnt think he did too much wrong, indeed i thought their 2nd try was a bit strange as the ball was "played" a metre forward but it still stood.
obviously we heard howls of protests and boo's from the east stand almost every tackle as is par for the course there but couldn't see if it was because we were offside or whether they thought it was the only way they could get upfield.
i actually thought the pass to brough for the 2nd try was slightly forward but some you win some you lose
rovers were simply, once again beaten by a far better outfit in the giants

Your right on both points and I think it was only Ganson and the two goons running the line who thought the pass actually went backwards.

| a couple of our tries were slightly forward, but refs / touch judges dont get tv/ replay etc to look at them again..some you win and some you lose as i am sure last week wigan sneaked a couple of slightly forward passes that led to tries

likewise the play the ball for fisher's try?
other than that i didnt think there was much more controversial decisions which is why im baffled at ganson getting the bird from the rovers faithful

| convincnig victory in the end i thought, one or two dodgy decisions either way but i dont think they changed the outcome of the match.
We were better than them in every department last night and i didnt think we were ever in danger of losing the game.
Just a point on 'big willie' ? what exactly does he do??

| I write off all our games against you lot these days, we just cannot seem to get the measure of you, Brough was outstanding (why the hell did we not get him when we had the opportunity) and you pack out battered ours easily. My concerns were out wide, we don't seem to be able to defend at all in these areas (especially since Newton has been out).
Giants are a very good side, well coached and will give all teams a run this season.
