Absolute rubbish, Robbo went to make a hit on the man he thought had got the ball, who didnt recieve it after all but in a split second Robbo wasn't to have known, it was a late challenge but certainly not malicious or dangerous.

i didnt see the robbo incident but knew it whatever happened would end up in a red card, i have never been to such a biased game towards the home team, no wonder catalans are hard to beat at home!

hopefully robbos red will be sufficient but i feel he will plead early guilty and miss the warrington game then back for the leeds one.

Seen the Robbo incident on super league full time again and it was never a sending off. If he gets done for this then its a disgrace, the sending off was bad enough but if he gets a ban or even a fine then those at Red Hall are so far out of touch with the game we better start to worry!!!

like i said i think the Ref sent him off because of where it happened, the crowd would have been on his back all afternoon if he hadn't have done, if that happened in England i doubt very much it would have been anything more than a penalty.

Totally agree with you Daz, something needs doing about the biased refs when Catalan are at home though.

From where I was the ball was defo grounded yet the video replays never had the right view to prove beyond doubt! The other vr decision everyone around us couldn't get why they couldn't decide yet the Catalans vr decision took two replays before essai came up!!! Never checked to see who was vr and rfl no longer list it!

Also Child was quick to give the Catalans try without any referral to VR when a doubt they had got the ball down, why?

we do seem to be on the wrong end of the pens at games, its becoming an issue, so far this season think we have been on the right side of the pens awarded just twice???? is it all down to our ill discipline? do refs not like brough?!

I only saw the highlights on the super league show last night but it appears to me that:

1. Robbo was sent off on the basis of information provided by the touch judge.
2. the VR was only asked to look at the grounding for Leroy's try which was as plain as day on 1st viewing, so what the heck was the VR looking at for so long if this was the case?
3. the Taia try should have gone to the VR as looked like the ball was put down on a Giants player's hand.

the disallowed try wasn't shown so can't comment on that.

T Crashley was the video ref and Childs sent Robbo off on his advice that Robbo had made an illegal attack to the head

even catalans fans in perpignan were saying robbo didn't do anything and that it was accidental.
i think,similar to the o'donnell red card last year,the officials saw a player lying prone and panicked thinking something terrible had happened and that the player must walk.
shame they didn't think the same when casty launched his attack on robbo!
