I actually think we made less errors than past weeks, just very much forgot about any effort this time. Too much reliance on others to pull us out of the mire and not playing as a team. Last season we looked like we could win it, but not this season not by a country mile, we'll just be making up the numbers in the playoffs. And its been said before we are distinctly lacking some mongrel, its a massive void in our team which is showing up big time this season.

It has been coming, we havent performed all season apart from the first game of the season at wigan.

todays game was over by half time, credit to salford, they ran hard and looks well up for the game!

we lost grix early on and had to reshuffle...and we just cant cope with things like this and we are put off our own game, lawrence switched, wardle switched, cudjoe switched.. when things arent going our way no plan B.

hope brough is ok, we got even worse when he went off, once again clueless without him.

but all said and done dont complete your sets and you dont win, error after errors and not completing sets, trying to score off every play

was crabtree winded? he carried on ok.... we have mullally and kaufusi to cover the forwards.

cudjoe..did you expect him to stop caton brown in full flight? cudjoe did great to get back and stop locke in the first half, he was out done by fages who is no slouch.

Not sure Mcgilivary was at fault for any tries today. Broughton is not getting any decent ball to show his skills.
Hope Brough was just a precaution. Grix looked to have an upper leg injury.

Cudjoe should have stopped Caton Brown in the build up to the first try,knocked on giving the scrum that led to the second try. His effort on Fages was dreadful as was his walking the ball into the tackle looking completely disinterested.

time for Anderson to go. we been poor all year but he still picks the team . is it a club rule to play a fullback who cant tackle.the 3rd try when cudjo to walk as the winger Brock you cant write comedy like that

Anderson out.. Abit extreme!
He's only got us a league leaders shield in his first season. It's not as if we are even out of the playoffs.
It's the team that needs to improve. The same players who last year won silverware.

Did Anderson sign an extension last season?

For the record: I'm not on the 'Anderson out' bandwagon, just asking.

We were beaten by the better side on the day,the Salford side in my opinion were the best side I've seen down at the John Smith Stadium this season up to press.They certainly did not look like a bottom of the table side.

Agreed hes quick but he gave him far too much space don the touch line, he set off so slow thing the cover would catch and then realised late they wouldn't. He should have got moving quicker, forced him inside then the cover would have caught him. Agreed with the Fages try not a lot he could do there and its was a good tackle on Locke (he actually got his legs moving on that one and caught him like we know he can do)

maybe cudjoe was played out of position for 70mins, shame he cant be an international full back too, at least he holds his hand up and says he is embarrassed by what he threw up today and will work hard to get his form back.

he looks slow and laid back but that is just how he looks to the eye, hes probably the 2nd fastest player at the club, could not have stopped the two tries people are talking about.

what about mcgillvarys defence? great go forward but its a big worry now.

what about the not completing sets? ferres passes in to touch with that wonder offload? wardle lost the ball 3 times i think too, taai does it and he gets loads of stick on here but none for wardle today, guess we all have our fave players.

I didn't see the incident as I followed the ball.
Was it a bad one? I know Lama got sent off but he's certainly not a dirty player.

Really didn't see the Brough incident as I was watching the ball or the one on Crabtree that was put on report.

only positives i can find from today was that we served that pitiful embarrassing performance up in round 18 and not in a play off and that salford somehow failed to put at least 50 on us !!
im hopeful that we are saving something back and go out all guns blazing in the play offs

we were dreadful in every department today, salford played pretty well to give them credit but had we muscled up in defence and not let them do what they wanted it could have been a diffferent outcome, fair play to salford, we were there for the taking today and they took us to the cleaners.

shameful performance today, it was almost as if we had decided not to bother today...
but take nothing away from salford who i doubt have played better this year and looked like a team of big name signings.

Gone to Hospital for an Xray. Suspected broken jaw, but we'll have to wait and see. That no 10 might not be a dirty player but tommy lee is certainly a s**t house for what he did when no 10 got sent off. Clapped his hands in the air and shook 10's hand for possibly breaking a players jaw, class P***K

Cudjoe was shocking, can't be bothered attitude once he went to fullback. When their winger broke clear cudjoe was just jogging across field towards him and we were shouting our heads off at him to get a move on cos it was so obvious he wasn't going to get there. Only started running properly when he realised the guy had already gone, pathetic, along with his whole 70 minutes at fullback.
Can't even send him out on DR as I'm sure Batley won't want that attitude in their side.
It has to go down as possibly the worst Super League player performance I have ever witnessed.

Some well over the top comments on Leroy. Yes he's out of form but he was also out of position and left ridiculously exposed at times by a very poor display by those in front of him. The only thing I took from his display was how well Grix has played this season given what he's often left to cope with.
We pile the pressure on at the start of the second half, Ferres throws it away with a farce of a pass into touch, on the next set Danny sends an awful kick down the throat of a Salford player who had dropped back on the side of the field where we were short of numbers - of course Leroy was to blame for the try!
I think the problems lies with the forwards. They are not getting the backs field position in attack and not giving them any protection in defence by keeping opposition metres down. I can't believe anyone who was been watching us over the last few months and even last season doesn't think we need an enforcer/leader in the pack - Eorl cheap shotted, Danny cheap shotted, Robbo cheap shotted. Our packs response? To lie down and take more of the same.
Unfortunately, PA has a problem he needs to sort in close season or he really will be under pressure. He's been saying the same things week in week out and there was been no response from the players. The wins we have been squeezing out have masked a problem we all know has been there for the majority of the season and PA is making little progress in resolving it - but he deserves at the very least the rest of the season and the start of next to get us back to where we want to be.

anderson likes the simple game, big forwards ... ok when things are going your way, we struggle when we are knocked off our game plan , warrington are the masters of upsetting us

I've been saying for ages with the way we have been playing a hammering was due and it has come, and about time to cos the players need a massive wake up call, the same players as last year are nowhere near their highest performance levels ...not one of them !!

Don't agree with the 'Anderson out' stuff, that's just silly although I would like to see non performing players have some 'buck up or else' type rollockings.

Fair enough but i think he has done enough in 1 and a half years in his 1st head coach role to keep his job, certainly for me, maybe if things don't change between now and the 1st quarter of next year it could be different.

What worries me WRT Anderson is that we have not improved all season. We always go behind. We do the same moves that don't work. We concede the same penalties. Week in, week out.

We are MUCH better in terms of player roster than what we put out. Be honest; we are. When the going gets tough, we sh*t our pants. No plan B. No plan A some games! No mongrel. Nothing. Look at the late shots yesterday; we didn't stick up for our own. No spirit. No direction on the field.

Long after those players are gone I will still be there. I don't have a tenth of their playing talent but they don't have my heart for the club.
