Sounds like Muprhy will get the nod over McIntosh if Jerry is fit judging by Stones interview on our site. We should be going with Darnell now though.

Clough will be a guarantee as seems like hes one of Stones favorites. Cant help but feel though a team realistically with Clough, Ferguson and Murphy in starting 17 wont have a realistic chance of getting in the top 4.

Murphy was woeful at wakey. Hope it was partly rustiness partly returning to his old club- either way he’s going to struggle against hulls strong outside edges if he doesn’t improve massively.

well that was a game of two halves!

went 4-0 down early on due to ill discipline and hull running harder.. then we started to get into the game and were looking the better team and in control at 12-4 up...infact we were close to going 18-4 up and things could have got very interesting!

unfortunately it all seemed to turn when mamo gave a penalty away when in possession!!! crazy, hull got the ball and scored just before half time... game on. lawrence alos went off just before this injured.

second half was like rick stone said a 'train crash!'... gave penalties away, sneyd kicking us to death, smith had two knock on after great runs from him, just undid his good work with those errors which hull capitalised on , brough some awful kicks didnt help either..mamo bad mistakes.just a disaster 40mins from us.

positives are we looked a good side in the first half, clough doesnt get as much credit as he deserves for us. murphy too was strong carrying the ball back for us, good to see ikahihifo back. obrien looked good at hooker, leeming got 40mins under his belt .

negative is the second half , mcintosh had a shocker, not good enough... if mcgillvary is back next week then murphy is ahead of him on the other wing all day long.
mamo looked very shaky under the high bombs....can see him being peppered with those now, will have to get some catching practise in.

It doesn't help for McIntosh been moved wings all the time. He is better on the opposite side but agree he had a shocker. Murphy isnt good enough either though.

Its common knowledge with the Giants. Its happens too often we all know McGilvarry wouldn't play...similar to we know Symonds will be out for ages and probably never play again,

Darnell had a stinker against Dewsbury too. Has anyone heard about the Simpson injury?

you get at least an 8/10 performance from murphy every game and he runs the ball back much stronger.

mcintosh far too inconsistent at the moment.

dont know about simpson injury but wouldnt get a game at mo anyway

On form I'd have him in front of Darnell from what I've seen so far personally! Darnell was great last year, reality check so far this year though
